Chachapoyas is a town in northern Peru, in a valley surrounded by cloud forest. Its Plaza de Armas features a bronze fountain and colonial buildings like the Palacio Municipal. The town is a gateway to archaeological sites such as Kuélap, a walled city with hundreds of buildings from the ancient Chachapoyas civilization. North of town, the huge Gocta Waterfall is set amid jungle sheltering toucans and monkeys.

Day 1 : Arrival To Chachapoyas
Location: Chachapoyas
Accommodation: Hotel
Once we reach Chachapoyas, we will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, we will have time to rest.
** Arrival from Jaen airport, the trip will be approx 4 hours to Chachapoyas
Overnight in Chachapoyas.
Day 2: Morning: Tour To Kuelap
Location: Kuelap
Accommodation: Hotel

Transfer from the hotel at 08:30 am towards the town of Nuevo Tingo, one hour by car, then we will continue our tour in the gondolas to the tourist hostel from where we will start the 30-minute walk to reach the fortified citadel of Kuelap. The visit takes approximately 2.30 hours.
Return to the platform for boarding the cable cars. We continue our tour to the town of Nuevo Tingo, where we will have lunch. We return to the city of Chachapoyas at 5pm.

Day 3: Karajia + Quiocta Cavern
Location: Karajia

8:30 AM Pick up from the hotel, departure towards the town of Lamud where we continue to the Quiocta cavern on a 5-minute walk to the cave entrance, visiting time approximately 1:30 hours. After the visit, transfer to the town of Lamud for lunch. After lunch, the trip continues to the community of Cruz Pata. From this place, you walk 40 minutes until you reach the archaeological site of Karajía.
The group of Sarcophagi is observed about 25 meters away, human burials considered by the UNWTO as unique in the world, after receiving the interesting information from the Guide, the walk back to mobility begins to return to the city of Chachapoyas arriving at approximately 6.30pm.

Day 4: Gocta Waterfall Tour
Location: Gocta Waterfall
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast
09:00 AM Pick up from the hotel, then we will go to the Cocachimba community, from where our guided walk to one of the highest waterfalls in the world will begin.
We will enjoy the landscape and the dense forest typical of the high jungle, habitat of the Cock of the Rocks, hummingbirds, Yellow-tailed Choro Monkey among other birds and animals of the place. The duration of the walk is approximately 5 hours.
Finally we return to the Cocachimba community, to return to the city of Chachapoyas.

Day 5 : Departure From Chachapoyas
Location: Chachapoyas
Meals Included: Breakfast
We transfer you from the city of Chachapoyas to the Jaén airport on a 4-hour tour; to board your flight according to your schedule.
