Tour Overview
Embark on an enchanting journey through the Julian Alps, a pristine wilderness graced by the majestic Triglav, Slovenia’s highest peak. Traverse peaks, deep valleys, and winding gorges, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of Slovenia. Crystal clear waterfalls and lakes punctuate the landscape, creating picturesque vistas at every turn.
Venture to higher altitudes, where open meadows and lush green valleys await you. Ascend beyond the tree line to explore rocky ridges and experience the thrill of walking amidst alpine forests. The Julian Alps, situated in the heart of Europe and bordered by Italy, Austria, Hungary, and Croatia, offer you a serene escape away from the bustling crowds often found in more popular tourist destinations.
Discover the untouched charm of Slovenia, a hidden gem that has retained its authenticity. In the northwest, our two centres, Kranjska Gora and Bohinj, beckon with their idyllic locations not far from mountain passes leading into Italy and Austria. Kranjska Gora, a renowned ski resort in winter, transforms into a paradise for summer walkers, with alpine forests, meadows, and challenging rocky routes above the treeline.
As you transition between our centres, relish a stop at the spectacular Vintgar Gorge, culminating in the enchanting surroundings of Lake Bled for your personal exploration. Our second centre, Ribcev Laz, at Lake Bohinj, serves as a gateway to climbing Triglav. Here, you'll meander through traditional mountain villages, surrounded by mountains and dense forests, experiencing the allure of deep valleys, waterfalls, and lakes.
With two experienced leaders and two distinct grades, our walks offer you a unique blend of adventure and serenity, promising you some of the most picturesque hiking experiences in Europe.
