Tour Overview

Costa Rica is an enlightened natural paradise. More than a quarter of the country’s landscape is protected, and a variety of distinct climatic zones caused by high mountains separate its Pacific and Caribbean coasts. Pura Vida - Pure Life

We have developed this holiday over twenty years to encapsulate the country’s diverse natural ecosystems perfectly. Steamy jungle, mysterious cloud forest, the white-sand beaches of the Pacific & Caribbean coasts, volcanoes and thermal areas, mangrove swamps, waterfalls, coffee plantations, lazy rivers… this is an itinerary which has it all.

Our knowledgeable Costa Rica tour guides help us spot and enjoy the endless array of exotic birds and wildlife… white-faced Capuchin Monkeys, the Resplendent Quetzal, hummingbirds, sloths, caiman and crocodiles, sea turtles and Scarlet Macaws.

With walks taking us further into Costa Rica’s natural riches than most visitors to the country have the opportunity to do, we will get to experience exclusive sites.

Highlights

  • Explore the laid-back Caribbean town of Cahuita and soak up its unique atmosphere.

  • Walk through Cahuita National Park's lush rainforest and along tropical white sand beaches.

Our sharp-eyed guide should be able to spot a variety of tropical frogs, spiders and insects. I went on the Dobbiaco...

25-Jul-2024

I went on the Dobbiaco and the Tre Cime holiday in July 2024. This was an excellent holiday overall. The walks are very well designed and the scenery is beautiful. There are frequent rest points during the walks and, where possible, people can choose to stop and wait or leave the walks. There is a good variety of walks (lakes, forests and mountains) and the walk leader was excellent. I would recommend this holiday for those who want to see some of the most stunning scenery in the Dolomites and also want to do some enjoyable walking without the demands of the higher grade walks in the region.

My first Winter Adventure, snowshoeing in Bach , Austria and will not be my last! The holiday exceeded my expectations from day 1! Everything was well organised, walks and scenery fabulous, hotel comfortable with a homely feel. I honestly cannot fault anything. Our walk leader Tania was excellent and went above and beyond what was expected. I am already looking towards booking another snowshoe holiday maybe in another location so I have a comparison. Overall an excellent experience and good value. 👌
