Day 1 : Fly From Reykjavik To Narsarsuaq And Transfer To Your Hotel
Fly from Reykjavik to Narsarsuaq and transfer to your hotel. Hike to Glacier Viewpoint, which takes about 1 hour, and enjoy the stunning views. Return to the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2 : In The Morning Enjoy The Hike Into The Flower Valley, With Superb Views Of The Valley And The Kiattut Glacier
In the morning enjoy the hike into the Flower Valley, with superb views of the valley and the Kiattut Glacier. On your return transfer from Narsarsuaq to Qaqortoq and join your guide for a tour around the settlement which includes Greenland's only fountain. Spend the night in Qaqortoq.
Day 3 : In The Morning Sail By Boat To Hvalsoy, Also Known As The &Amp;Quot;Whale Island&Amp;Quot;
In the morning sail by boat to Hvalsoy, also known as the "Whale Island". The ruin of the Hvaslsoy church is one of the best preserved in Greenland and the landscape is little-changed since the 14th century, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to Qaqorotoq in the afternoon and transfer to Narsaq for two nights.
Day 4 : Leaving Narsaq, Take A Rib Boat To The Remote Qaleraliq Camp And Enjoy The Stunning Views Of The Qaleraliq Glacier, On Which You Will Trek With The Help Of Crampons And Explore One Of The Planet&Amp;#39;S Oldest Ice Masses
Leaving Narsaq, take a RIB boat to the remote Qaleraliq camp and enjoy the stunning views of the Qaleraliq glacier, on which you will trek with the help of crampons and explore one of the planet's oldest ice masses. Have lunch on the glacier before returning to Narsaq via Sermilik Fjord.
Day 5 : Have A Free Morning To Explore The Settlement Of Narsaq And Later Take A Boat To Iteilleq And Enjoy The Easy Hike To Along Kongevejen, The Path Of The Kings, To Igaliku, Where You Will Stay For The Night
Have a free morning to explore the settlement of Narsaq and later take a boat to Iteilleq and enjoy the easy hike to along Kongevejen, the Path of the Kings, to Igaliku, where you will stay for the night. This is renowned as one of the most beautiful settlements in Greenland with unique stone architecture. Explore the ruins of Gardar which is the religious capital of Viking Greenland as well as the Norse Bishop's farm.
Day 6 : Take A Hike In The Morning To Einarsfjord, Which Is The Only One In Greenland Without Icebergs
Take a hike in the morning to Einarsfjord, which is the only one in Greenland without icebergs. After returning to Itilleq take a boat to Qooroq Fjord which is home to one of Greenland's most active glaciers. From here, head to Narsarsuaq for your final two nights.
Day 7 : Take A Rib Over To Qassiarsuk And Visit The Remains Of Old Brattahlid, The Capital Of Viking Greenland Founded By Erik The Red In 985 Ad
Take a RIB over to Qassiarsuk and visit the remains of old Brattahlid, the capital of Viking Greenland founded by Erik the Red in 985 AD. From there take a 4WD vehicle to the remote Tasiusaq farm which is often isolated over winter. Have a picnic lunch here and then go on a kayak excursion on "Iceberg Bay" before returning to your hotel for a farewell dinner on your last night.
Day 8 : Transfer Back To The Airport For The Flight Back To Reykjavik
Transfer back to the airport for the flight back to Reykjavik.
