Day 1 Uk-St Petersburg, Russia
Accommodation Name: Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya Hotel & Conference Centre
After meeting your Solos tour manager at the airport, fly to St Petersburg.
Transfer to the city centre where you’ll spend the next five nights at the locally rated 4-star Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya Hotel & Conference Centre (3Q+). St Petersburg is a grand city by design. Magnificent baroque and neoclassical architecture is balanced with leafy parks and wide avenues spread across a group of islands. Look forward to a welcome dinner and drink at the hotel where you can get to know the rest of your group. D
Day 2 St Petersburg
Accommodation Name: Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya Hotel & Conference Centre
After breakfast, set out on morning orientation tour of St Petersburg, with photo stops at Palace Square, Kazan Cathedral, the Singer building – St Petersburg most famous bookshop – and the city’s main avenue, Nevsky Prospekt. You’ll also visit the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood, known as the Spilled Blood Church. Its colourful, twisted onion-domed turrets resemble those of the earlier St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. After admiring the external facade of the church, head inside to view the wonderfully ornate interior. The rest of the day is free to spend at leisure, and your tour manager is on hand throughout your tour to help recommend attractions or restaurants.
Alternatively, you may like to tour St Isaac’s Cathedral on an optional excursion. B
Day 3 St Petersburg

This morning visit the Hermitage Museum, in the famous Winter palace – a combination of four interconnecting palaces with around 365 rooms of exhibits! The museum is one of the world’s greatest art galleries were you'll find a cross section of the history of Western European Art, ranging from Florentine and Venetian Renaissance Art to Impressionism and post-Impressionism. In addition, there is an extensive collection of prehistoric, Egyptian and Oriental art plus temporary exhibitions. Today’s tour also includes entrance to the General Staff Building, located opposite, which houses the modern art of the the Hermitage, including famous works by Matisse and Picasso.
This afternoon is free to continue exploring St Petersburg independently, or you could join an optional excursion to the Fabergé Musuem. B
Day 4 St Petersburg
Accommodation Name: Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya Hotel & Conference Centre
Today you have a full day at leisure. You might choose to relax at your hotel, seek out more of St Petersburg’s museums, parks, monuments and cathedrals independently, or an optional excursion visits the Peterhof Palace and Gardens. This evening another optional excursions offers the chance to take in a folklore show. B
Day 5 Pushkin

After breakfast, journey south to Pushkin to see how the Tsars spent their summers.
This town consists of beautiful pavilions, lakes, gardens and its crowning glory, the eye-wateringly opulent Catherine Palace, a gift to Catherine I from her husband Peter the Great. During your tour you'll see the exquisite grounds and lavish interior of this vast royal residence, including the Chinese Blue Drawing Room, the Portrait Hall, and the legendary Amber Room decorated with engraved amber panels, jewelled mosaics and gilded wooden carvings.
This evening, look forward to a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. B, D
Day 6 St Petersburg, Russia-Uk

Enjoy the morning at leisure, or perhaps choose to visit Yusupov Palace, the scene of the assassination of Grigori Rasputin, on an optional excursion. This afternoon, transfer to the airport for you return flight to the UK. B
