We visit nearby Poole, home to a historic quayside which hosts visiting tall ships, fishing vessels and luxury motor yachts.
Explore the pretty streets and seaside shops before boarding the Dorset Queen – a vintage motor yacht which takes us on a delightful cruise around the harbour and coast. See Millionaires Row, Brownsea Castle and the five islands within Poole Harbour. Weather permitting, the cruise will venture outside the harbour to view Old Harry Rocks and the beginning of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast. There will be live commentary on board so you won’t miss a thing and we’ll also enjoy a delicious cream tea as we sail.Day 3 Day at leisure or Dorchester

Visit the beautiful, medieval city of Salisbury where there is an abundance of historic buildings to explore, including the majestic cathedral which boasts Britain’s tallest spire. Captivating visitors since 1227, the splendid cathedral (entrance not included) is a popular attraction and is also home to the best preserved of the four surviving Magna Carta documents which is on display.
The remainder of the city is compact and easy to get around, retaining much of its medieval centre with a delightful market square and traditional shopping streets.
Later in the day we return to Bournemouth via the tranquil scenery of the beautiful New Forest National Park.
