Today, Venice is an extraordinary city with lots to discover, from museums to art galleries, monuments to bridges, and everything in between.

Some of the most famous places we’ll be able to visit at leisure while in the city include Ca' d'Oro, the Doge's Palace and the Clock Tower, as well as the Museum of Natural History and the Venice Academy Gallery. There’s also the Basilica di San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, Rialto Bridge and the famous Grand Canal.

Day 5 : South Lake Tour And Peninsula Cruise

Join us as we enjoy a fantastic optional excursion to the Southern shores of Lake Garda, where we’ll get to explore the pretty town of Sirmione and enjoy a short peninsula cruise.

This famous town is known for its beautiful views and relaxed atmosphere, and we’ll be able to take in its many sights. These include the 13th century Scaliger Castle, and the churches of Sant’Anna della Rocca, San Pietro in Mavino and Santa Maria Maggiore.

Spend time relaxing in this charming town and enjoy the scenery of this beautiful part of Italy.

Day 6 : Verona

Verona is one of Italy’s most romantic cities, thanks to the fact that Shakespeare chose this city to set his romantic tragedy Romeo and Juliet.

While the couple were purely fictional, there are many attractions which claim by local legend to have once set the scene for Romeo and Juliet. For example, there’s Juliet’s House, where we’ll find the balcony Romeo is said to have serenaded his love, as well as the Basilica di San Zeno where the two were supposedly married in secret. There’s also Juliet’s tomb, which is said to be located within San Francesco al Corso church.

Aside from this, there are many other attractions to enjoy in Verona, such as the Piazza delle Erbe, which was once the site of the Roman Forum in the city, and Lamberti Tower.

There’s a Roman Theatre and Archaeological Museum to enjoy as well, and the impressive Verona Cathedral.

Day 7 : Italian Dolomites

The Dolomites feature an incredible variety of diverse landscapes, from lush valleys to towering peaks, as well as breathtaking panoramas at every turn.

You will stay for six or seven nights at the 3-star Villa Mulino, Garda Town. Set just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Garda in a converted former watermill, retaining many original features, the Hotel Villa Mulino is an absolutely charming place to stay. The hotel has a pool area and gardens which make a perfect place to relax and enjoy your Lake Garda holiday. From the hotel, it’s just a couple of minutes’ walk into the old town of Garda where there are a number of fine eateries and traditional bars with fantastic views across the lake. The restaurant serves authentic Italian & international cuisine. There is regular live music and dancing in the evenings

    If you are a British citizen and are going on a UK holiday, you are not required to have insurance. If you are a non-British citizen and are going on a UK holiday, you are required to have an insurance policy in place or return a signed indemnity form to us prior to travel. For all travellers on European tours, you must either have a travel insurance policy in place or return a signed insurance indemnity form to us prior to travel.

  • Will there be a toilet on-board the coach?

    All main tour coaches have on-board toilets. Transfer vehicles to and from the interchange may not have on-board toilets.

  • Can I pay for the optional excursions when I make my booking?

Some optional excursions are pre-bookable due to demand when making your reservation. The running order of included and optional excursions may be altered without prior notice.

  • Do you operate a “single share” option and how does it work?

    No, we do not. However, we only ever charge a supplement if a hotelier imposes this charge to us as a company. Single room supplements are a bone of contention within the travel industry and we would like to assure you that we proactively seek accommodation with low or no single room supplements for our guests.

  • What documents will I receive before I travel?

    You will receive a detailed itinerary alongside travel documents, and these will be sent 5 days prior to travel.
