The Everest base camp with Gokyo Lake is a fascinating and adventurous trek via the off-beaten trails in the Khumbu region. It is an adventure trek where we will be experiencing the high Mountains of Nepal, Mt. Everest Base Camp, and cross the Cho-la Pass at 5300+ meters. I was not disappointed.
I was welcomed after two days of flying to get to Kathmandu at 11:30 pm with plenty of smiles and a ride to the hotel from the airport.

Gokyo and EBC
I was afraid and seeking help from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team to bring forward my flight as I don't want to miss any chances if there is any flight available, unfortunately my flight was cancelled as well even though Sherpa Expedition and Trekking managed to bring my flight forward.
In the end, I left Lukla with a chopper by sharing the cost with other tourists.

Next Level Trek
We read guidebooks and numerous websites leading up to this trip, but nothing quite captured the awesomeness of the just being there in person.
Each day of our trek was physically and mentally exhausting, but our guide saw to it that we were looked after - be it on the trail, dining, or settling in at the lodge each night.
