Itinerary
Day 1 : Morning Flight From Kathmandu To Tenzing And Hillary Airport In Lukla (2804M/9199Ft). Trekking From Lukla To Phakding (Alt. 2610M/8563Ft)

Early morning you will be picked up at the hotel by our guide and escort you to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport. Then you take the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. During the 35 minutes, you enjoy marvelous views of Himalayas. After landing at Tenzing-Hilary airport you meet your porter. He will carry your luggage. Then you start your trekking. Today you trek of three hours. It’s easy and gentle. The trail starts passing a Kani (ceremonial gatehouse). It steeply descends then runs above Kyangma village, which has a large gompa (monastery) and school. After that, you enter Cheplung village. The path descends through community forest with the sight of Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the suspension bridge you have to climb around the ridge to Ghat. Leaving Ghat the trail passes a school and complex of mani walls, Chortens and prayer wheels. Then the trail climbs to the small village. After a short walk from a small village, you reach Phakding. Day 2 : Trek From Phakding To Namche Bazaar 3,440M. Duration: 5-6 Hours

After breakfast a refreshing morning, the walk continues crossing suspension bridges over Dudh Kosi river passing several most interesting villages of Tok-Tok, Bhenkar, and Monjo arriving at Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate, from here you need to buy a permit. Following the river bed for few hours and after the last Hillary suspension bridge a steep uphill to Namche Bazaar, at Namche with facilities of a good restaurant, cyber café, pubs, post office, ATM and banks. Day 3 : Acclimatization At Namche Bazaar.

This is the perfect place set for "acclimatization". Health Specialists advocate us to stay active and moving during the rest day too instead of being idle. We either spend the day taking a short hike to Everest view resort or Thame or visiting Khunde or relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery, and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday. If we tend to trek a few hundred vertical feet during the day, it will help us to properly acclimatize. Our guides take us to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and find out about the varied plant and animal life of the Everest region. Day 4 : Trek To Tengboche (3,870 M). Duration: 5-6 Hours.

The trek continues along the flowing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains (Mt. Everest, Lhoste, Taboche peak, Amadablam. You’ll have a trek to an altitude of 3,800 meters upon reaching Tengboche. Inside the Tengboche monastery are unbelievably ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of types Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The cluster will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or in the morning depending on how the trekking goes this day. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Day 5 : Trek To Dingboche 4,460M. Duration: 4-5 Hours.

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche is brief, but as mentioned many will be doing it in the afternoon. Where the last hill into Dingboche is the altitude usually bites. Leaving upper the treks trails heads to the village of Somare (4020m) and then Orsho; both have lodges. Later the trail divides the left way goes up to Pheriche. The trail heads around to a suspension bridge, before a steep climb to the village of Dingboche (4460m), which has quite a few very good Guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
Day 6 : Acclimatization Day At Dingboche. Hike To Checking And Back To Hotel.

It's appropriate to have next acclimatization day off before going higher. The best choice is to hike up the valley to Chukkung Valley (4730m) and on towards Island Peak (Imja Tes). Above Dingboche is Nagkartshang Gompa (allow 2 to3hrs for an energetic but short trip) or head to Pheriche for an afternoon lecture on altitude sickness. The trail for Chhukung leaves Dingboche for the cluster of Bibr (4570m) is surrounded by fabulous mountain Peaks: Taboche, the wall of Nuptse and Lhotse and the enormous fluted cirque liking the Amphu Laptsa pass and Ama Dablam. Chukkung has several lodges and is the most popular spot for those climbing island peaks. Well acclimatized trekkers can head up a grassy slope towards the peak of Chukkung Ri (5550m) to view of Makalu. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Day 7 : Trek To Lobuche 4,900 Meters. Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast, our trek starts with an easy walk towards Thukla. Next, you trek up the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, and then pass through the boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara where we find a muster of stones with prayer flags used as (Sherpa memorial place) memorials to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer) and 10-time Everest summiteer Babu Chiri Sherpa (Nepalese Sherpa mountain guide) who perished on a mission to climb Mt. Everest. The path then continues to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and that we realize ourselves facing several beautiful mountain peaks - Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Mahalangur Himal. Overnight in Lobuche. Day 8 : Trek To Gorak Shep 5,180M 3 To 4 Hrs And Trek To Ebc And Overnight At Gorekshep. Duration: 6-7 Hours.

We take the path to Mt. Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak-Shep. Continuing the straight trail ahead, we come across the Indian army mountaineers' memorials. The way from here can be misleading; hence it is important that we follow our lead Sherpa diligently. The walk is remained due to thin air in the high altitude. We experience the rocky dunes, moraine, and streams before reaching the Mt. Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching the Mt. Everest Base Camp, you can see more than tens of mountaineers that stand out in bright colors against the tedious of gray surroundings (especially in the spring). Khumbuste, Nuptse, and Pumori are the mountains we can observe from the base camp then you will get back to Gorak Shep for a good night's rest. Overnight in Gorak Shep. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
Day 9 : Hike To Kalapatthar 5,550M For Sunrise And Trek To Pangboche. Duration: 7-8 Hours.

We get up for an early morning at 4:00 am a departure, amid pre-dawn darkness and cold temperatures (-10 to -14 C). Plus, there is always the potential for cold winds which are quite common. Common peaks such as Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Changtse tower to the east even as Everest begins to reveal itself. But, it is upon reaching Kala Patthar (5550m) that we get to see360 degree up-close and stunning views of Mount. Everest. After enjoying the magnificent mountain panorama and of course taking plenty of pictures you will return back to Lobuche for a good night's rest. Overnight in Pangboche. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
Day 10 : Trek Back To Namche Bazaar (3,440 M). Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Pangboche we retrace our stairs down to the Imja Khola and up through the rhododendron forest to Tengboche monasteries. Interested one can also explore the nuns (women religious) at the Tengboche monastery. After lunch at Tengboche, you tend to continue through the hillside blanketed by colorful rhododendron and juniper trees. After crossing the bridge over the (milky river) Dudh Koshi River, our trail follows the Dudh Koshi gorge descending rapidly through the pine forests before reaching Sansa. We keep a lookout for wildlife such as (Himalaya Thar) mountain goats, snow leopards, colorful pheasants while passing through the forest. After passing a Chorten, you get through the Army camp at Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
Day 11 : Trek To Lukla (2,804 M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Last day of our trekking as we return to Lukla where the trek starts out. We enjoy this time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Day 12 : Fly Back To Kathmandu. Duration: 30 Minutes.

You take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu after our 13 days long mountain journey. After reaching Kathmandu, you can take a rest or do some shopping. If you want to explore any other missed sites of Kathmandu, you may do that today. Our guides will assist you with both souvenirs shopping or sightseeing. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening with Nepali traditional cultural dance show restaurant.
