First, you will visit Ta Prohm which is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found- overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. This makes the so-called Tomb Raider Temple, as it was used during the filming of the movie, one of the most picturesque and memorable temples of the Angkor complex.

You will then head out to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, enter the city through the ancient Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with elephants and four giant faces. From here, continue to Bayon Temple, found in the center of the city famed as the enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are also must-visits as they are both known for their intricate bas-reliefs.

You will take a break at lunch and stop at the local restaurant to enjoy tasteful Cambodian dishes.

Lastly, you will bike to the gem of the Angkor complex, Angkor Wat. Following your tour leader, you will be mesmerized by the rich history and symbolism of this unique ancient temple. Afterward, you will return to your hotel.

Fabulous Food Cycling

01-Jan-2020

A great bike ride in the countryside around Siem Reap in local villages, markets, hidden temples, farm life and floating village. All capped off with fabulous food experiences, the highlight being the village cooking class culminating in a fantastic lunch. The guys (George, Marco, Red and Bo) were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Put simply, a superb experience. There was nothing to dislike. One must expect all of the trappings of country life and local villages and there were no surprises here. All to be expected and the people are so happy and friendly. A wonderful reality check.

Wonderful Trip Ever!

17-Sep-2019

I traveled with my friend to Cambodia was one place where I was apprehensive about, but traveling with Siem Reaper took the worry away. The 4 days trip covers all the highlights of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat temples and we also get to visit smaller places that we would have missed by traveling by bike and of course – FOOD was incredible. We get the authentic experience, instead of just visiting places filled with other tourists. The bike tour gave us the opportunity to visit local places and the hidden off the beaten track. The great thing about the tour was our tour guide (Sokvuth). He was fantastic with his knowledge and passion for Cambodia. Our trip would not have been complete without the expertise, passion, and commitment of our guides. He was so helpful, friendly, and a lot of fun and he took care of us from the moment we stepped on the tour. He told pretty much everything out for us and made our tour run very smoothly and even teaching us some of the local languages. We definitely loved his enthusiasm, I loved hearing of his personal experiences, he really made our trip whole. So thank you for the great host. Another great thing about this tour was the people you meet on the way, we made lots of great friends that we will see later on in our travels. Although, the Angkor Wat temple was amazing architecture with a rich history and culture. We also get to see the local lives on the floating village of Tonle Sap and learn so much from our guide. The overall experience was stunning and exceeded all our expectations.

FANTASTIC TRIP, GREAT COMPANY

27-Oct-2019

This trip was brilliant to see loads of Siem Reap in a quick time frame – just did 4 days and it’s the best experience and decision we have ever made. Our tour leader Sovuth spoke excellent English and took us to all the unique attractions where there was hardly found by any tourists. He made sure we were safe and would inform us what we could and couldn’t do. We never feel rushed since we could just relax and properly explore the area. The bicycle, transportation and accommodation provided were great, and the activities offered were the best selection from the area. Highlight – food tour down the Siem Reap street food with plenty of local food selection we choose from. Amazing food great people and an insiders view of an amazing part of the world. The bike tour to Angkor Wat and Floating Village were great. We learned so much from the rich history and local ways of life in Cambodia. Highly recommend Siem Reaper if you are looking to explore Cambodia in a short time and see all the highlights. Book this trip it’s so interesting with so many things to see, we still can’t believe we have been.
