Tour Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel/lodge at Dar es Salaam early in the morning at 06hr30 to start a trip to Nyerere National Park. Your drive will take about 6 to 7 hours. On arrival, you'll take a boat safari which is the best excursions for bird enthusiasts. Nyerere NP has over 350 bird species, and the river is the place where they congregate in great numbers and are easily seen in the open environment.

Day 1 : Experience Beautiful Safari To Nyerere National Park From Dar Es Salaam

Location: Nyerere National Park

Accommodation: Camp

You'll meet our professional driver and guide in Dar es Salaam at 06hr30. Then with your lunch box, you'll drive to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival in the park, get some rest before a drive to the riverbank of the great Rufiji River for the late afternoon thrilling boat sunset cruise.

After having your lunch at 01hr30, you will start your boat tour along Rufiji River and see hippos, crocodiles and birds in their natural habitat. Your overnight stay and dinner will be offered at Africa Safari Selous on full board accommodation.

Day 2 : Warmth Game Drive Across Nyerere National Park

Location: Nyerere National Park

After breakfast from the camp at 07hr00 with packed lunches enjoy a game drive inside the park, expect to see a large number of animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra, hyenas and many others.

You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During the afternoon, you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeding with game drive.

Later in the Evening you'll head back to your accommodation at African Safari Selous!

Day 3 : Tremendous Walking Safari Then Drive To Dar Es Salaam

Location: Dar es Salaam

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Early in the morning before breakfast at 06hr00 you’ll go for a walking safari with armed Bushmen whereby you’ll share various experiences about Nyerere NP afterward breakfast will be offered around 08hr00.

Later at 10hr00 after having your breakfast you'll start driving back to Dar es Salaam.
