Next, you will travel to the spice of the Caribbean and land of the Jab, Grenada. An island with unspoilt beauty offering a lifestyle so pure and authentic that you will feel instantly renewed. Famed for its aromatic spices and organic chocolate, the tri-island destination of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique is located in the eastern Caribbean just south of Barbados.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    Unfortunately, we are not able to support pets currently, but we are going to do our best to continue exploring this option and will update you in the future if it becomes viable.

  • What if I have to cancel?

    If travel and safety regulations change and we are no longer able to operate the program on the scheduled start date, we will offer a refund or the option to reschedule. We understand that personal plans may change therefore you can rebook for another Soca Islands experience up to 12 months from your original start date of your booked experience.

  • Can I bring my significant other?

    Yes, you can add your significant other on your Work+Travel experience. If you are sharing a bedroom, you will both receive discounts on monthly fee. After you pay your deposits, just send us a message to explore@socaislands.com and we’ll apply your discounts.

  • What if I need more flexibility on payments?

    If you need help with a payment plan or financing, please reach out to us for additional options where available.

  • What is the maximum group size?

    We usually have between 15-25 people in each group.

  • When do I need to make the payments?

    The full deposit, $3,000, is due 30 days prior to the start of your Work+Travel experience. During your Work+Travel experience, you pay $2,000 on the first day of each of the three months.

  • Do I have to stay with the group the entire time?

    If there is any part of the experience in which you do not want to participate (going to events, our local experience tracks, workspace access, etc.) then you do not have to! You are always free to go off and find your own activities, make your own connections, explore other places to work, etc..

  • Are the Caribbean islands safe?

    Safety and security is a prime concern. We work with security agencies on the ground to get the latest updates on staying safe on each island.

    Soca Islands requires a minimum deposit of 30% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.

  • Cancellation Policy

    We don't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of soca islands charges.

    Up to 60 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of deposit.

    At 45 days before tour starts: Forfeit 50% of booking price.

    At 30 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of booking price.
