Day 1 : Raise A Glass
Location: Napa Valley
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Dinner

Calistoga discovery ⋅ Cool wineries ⋅ Farm-to-fork dinner

Our journey of taste begins in the charming hamlet of Calistoga at the northern end of Napa Valley. Here, we come together for a welcome toast in our boutique hotel’s atmospheric courtyard before setting out for a golden-hour stroll down historic Lincoln Avenue.

Between art gallery visits and window shopping, our first stop is at Napa’s coolest winery, Tank Garage Winery, set inside a vintage gas station and offering unique varieties sourced from some of the region’s most interesting vineyards. Next stop is The LOLA House tasting room to soak up the old-world vibe and taste LOLA’s small-batch, artisanal wines alongside the winemaker's unusual culinary treat, bottarga.

Tonight, we sample classic California cuisine with a rustic farm-to-fork meal to cap off a fabulous first day.

Mumm tasting ⋅ Scenic e-bike ride ⋅ Curated Cab Sav tasting

The morning is yours to hunt down Calistoga’s best pain au chocolat before we depart on a private transfer to start our day the true wine-country way – with bubbles. We go behind the scenes of Mumm Napa to see méthode traditionnelle winemaking firsthand, followed by a relaxed tour of the enchanting property and a relaxed tasting on the prestigious Oak Terrace – sumptuous views included.

Our afternoon begins with a e-bikes pedal along the scenic Silverado Trail to take in the terroir – rolling hills, towering oaks and precious vines. Lunch is served on a spectacular terrace with panoramic views of the Vaca Mountains. We settle into a curated tasting of Napa’s famed Cabernet Sauvignons in a luscious garden setting.

We land in Yountville for some downtime and optional guided art crawl. Dinner is at a roadside eatery beloved by foodies and off-duty chefs – our evening kicks off with a visit to their organic kitchen garden.

Local market discovery ⋅ Cave tasting ⋅ Locally sourced dinner

Start your morning with a restorative soak in the hotel’s natural geothermal mineral pool before we make our way to the hip hub of all things culinary, Oxbow Public Market. Your Tastemaker guides you through tastes, sips and samples of the best locally sourced food and drinks. Grab a gourmet lunch and take a seat among the locals on the outdoor patio for a picnic shared with new friends.

Next we go off the beaten path to find a hidden vineyard, visible only to the eagles who soar over these hills. We’re guided through a terroir-driven tasting of wines farmed from volcanic ash soils, while nestled into a sustainably built hillside cave.

After free time this afternoon to explore downtown Napa, we come together for a final palate-expanding locally sourced dinner set in a fully restored Victorian mansion.
