Croatia Odyssey: 9 Days Small Group Tour from Zagreb to Dubrovnik

This was a fantastic day from start to finish! It was fascinating, beautiful and magical! Our excellent guide and driver, Igor, first took us to a beautiful little village, with a mosque. One could enter the small, delicate mosque and also have a walk round the village. Then we were driven to these outstanding waterfalls, an absolutely magical spot where we swam in the refreshing lovely water. Then on to Mostar which was spectacular! We crossed the famous bridge and a guy, one of those professional jumpers, jumped off it! It is a sight to behold.. however I certainly wouldn’t do it! 😂😂 We then crossed the border back into Croatia. . Both times, when crossing the border, we stopped at the cafe at the border which has a magnificent view! Igor told us so many interesting stories about the region and explained everything clearly to us! He as very kind and patient and always made sure we were comfortable and very well looked after! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Go and see the beauty and majesty of Herezegovina. You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Boris. He picked us up promptly at our Airbnb just outside of Dubrovnik and drove us to the tour sights safely. He spoke perfect English and catered to our tastes and desires. He made suggestions and gave us alone time to explore. We learned a lot about Bosnia’s history. We did not wait too long at the Bosnian border crossing. In my opinion, this tour is way better than a day trip to Montenegro. If you are lucky enough to get Boris, you will have a blast.

We had a tour on April 12 from Dubrovnik to Bosnia (Kravice and Mostar were the highlights) and we had a great time. Our tour guide Drazen and the bus driver were professional, capable and helpful at all times. During border crossing, they gave good instructions for us and managed our passports and travel documents well. Kudos to Drazen for handling 50+ passports smoothly and securely! The tour itself was nice and organized. All they describe in the booking were as they are during the tour. For example, it was clearly said that they will not pick up in hotel but rather at another pick up point. No surprises to us. They also said beforehand that there will be 10€ fee for Kravice Waterfalls and we were able to prepare for that. During the tour, they tried to keep a good timeline for all the stops. Kravice and Mostar were amazing and beautiful. We also had a small stop in a Mosque dating back to Ottoman time somewhere in Bosnia. Drazen also gave quite good comments about Bosnian history and also a bit of Croatia and I liked how he shared about the local life there as it is. On the way back, they took us to a nice coastal route along Bosnia and Croatia which was super beautiful. The tour was originally 12 hrs but it went couple of hours over because of a challenge during border crossing which wasn’t the tour company’s fault. And even at that long work day for Drazen and our driver, they stayed helpful and professional which was really good attitude especially when everyone is already tired after a long day. Overall we had an excellent and nice experience in Bosnia and we safely arrived back to Dubrovnik!

The trip was outstanding! Niko was our guide and did a fantastic job. Niko is very knowledgeable on the history and area and made the whole experience very enjoyable! Here’s to hoping that Niko is your guide whenever you do this trip. This was an unforgettable experience! If you climb the wall in Kotor, there’s a treacherous hiking path if you follow the wall! If you prefer more of a city experience, then stay within the wall shopping areas. Don’t forget to bring cash as most of the vendors prefer that method, not to mention you will require €1 to enter into the city and €10 to get on the boat trip that you take during the tour. I have participated in two tours with them: one to the Mostar Waterfall and the other to Montenegro. The tour helpline and information personnel were highly responsive and kept us informed about every aspect of the trip. Communication was excellent throughout. The trips themselves went smoothly, with Zak being exceptionally knowledgeable and actively guiding and assisting us during the Montenegro tour. The Mostar trip was also enjoyable, though there were some odd questions from the driver regarding my nationality/looks. However, overall, both trips were successful, and I focused on appreciating the natural beauty of the Balkans. I particularly commend the company for their professional online operation.

Day trip to Montenegro, kotor bay, lady of the rock, perast. Long day , 11 hours start to finish. if you don’t mind sitting on a bus for a few hours then it’s for you. Good tour. Niko was a great guide. Explaining information on the way. He Was organised. Got us in and out the of the boarder without any issues or delays. Be prepared to pay for extra. Eg 10euro per person for ferry to take you across the island. 3euro entry to museum. Overall it was ok
