Tour Overview
A five day, privately guided adventure holiday that gives you so many different perspectives of Slovak Paradise and Pienini National Parks. Our collection of multi-activities in Slovakia include white water rafting on the Dunajec River, a colossal trek following the Via Ferrata HZS Kysel in the eponymous gorge and e-biking in the Low Tatras Mountains. This is a centre-based holiday, staying in a hotel in the historic mountain town of Poprad, with transfers to all your activities. This holiday is suitable for children from eight years old, and a height of over 120cm
Highlights
Itinerary
Arrive in Poprad. Depending on your time of arrival, we recommend visiting the district of Spisska Sobota, one of the best preserved medieval centres in Slovakia and home to the 13th-century Kostol sv. EgÃdia church. And also take time to get picnic lunch ingredients for your adventure tomorrow.
Accommodation in Poprad
Day 2: White water rafting on Dunajec River I 8-12km
After meeting your guide at the hotel, you are transferred to the village of Cervený Klástor (1h), where it’s also worth taking time to visit the 14th-century Cervený Kláštor monastery before today’s activity. After a short training, start your rafting adventure on the Dunajec River. The ride is suitable for beginners. The route has two optional lengths: the first starts and finishes on the Slovak side (8km), and the second is on the Polish side (12km). After the activity, you are driven back to your hotel in the afternoon.
White water rafting: 8-12km
Day 3: Via Ferrata HZS Kysel, Slovak Paradise National Park I 14km
Start with a private transfer from your accommodation to Cingov campground area (30mins) and walk to the beginning of the Via Ferrata HZS Kysel in Slovak Paradise National Park. Using climbing equipment, make your way through Kysel Gorge, supported by an iron cable permanently fixed at the gorge for your safety. Please note that this activity is not an easy one and takes a minimum of 7h to complete the whole route, especially on rainy days when the terrain can be very slippery. In the afternoon, our driver takes you back to your accommodation in Poprad.
Walking and via ferrata for the day: 14km, 7h
Day 4: E-biking in Tatras Mountains I 30-50km
Your guide picks you up from the hotel and transfers you (45mins) to the starting point of today’s trail, and e-bike collection. You can choose between four optional routes, depending on the difficulty level: an easier surface with gentle climbs and longer distance; a more moderate cycle to climb Mount Králova Hola (1,946m) in the Low Tatras Mountains; or around Slovak Paradise National Park. In the afternoon, our driver transfers you to Poprad for your last night.
Cycling for the day: 30-50km, 2-5h
