Upon your arrival in Naples reach the hotel on your own and check in (transfer available as an optional extra). In the evening, enjoy a small group tour of Naples with street food. Take a chance to visit the city of Naples with a local guide who is not just a guide but a true Neapolitan traditions believer! You will discover the real heart of Naples, full of the artistic influences left by the different dominations suffered by the city after the Greek and Roman ages. Visit Piazza Plebiscito with the magnificent Royal Palace, walk along the seaside to enjoy the view of the bay and Mt. Walk through the narrow streets of the historical center and in the famous "Spaccanapoli". In the historical center take the chance to enter a craftsman shop to learn about the tradition of the handmade statues of the Nativity (called “Presepe”), a tradition deeply felt in Naples during Christmas time that goes back to 1000 years ago. Walk along the central nave of Naples Cathedral also known as “Duomo” and be fascinated by the history of Saint Gennaro and the liquefaction of his blood. Visit Naples, the oldest city in Italy (older than Rome and Florence), built 2800 years ago by the Greeks under the name of Parthenope.

Day 2 : Naples

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be picked up at the hotel for a tour reach of history. Your small group tour starts with a visit to the Pompeii excavations where you can stroll through the streets of the ancient Roman city with its millennia-old houses, amphitheaters, thermal baths and so on. Several buildings still retain part of their original decorations, such as those adorning the Villa of the Mysteries, the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet, and the Villa of Diomedes, among others. After Pompeii, you will go to the discovery of another UNESCO archaeological site: Herculaneum so that you can check the main differences between these two sites. Both of them feature the excavated ruins of alleyways and homes where you are free to explore and yet continue to unearth the remains of a place locked in time today. Whereupon drive up to Mount Vesuvius and stop at 1000 m altitude. Once there enjoy the view of the Bay of Naples and enjoy your lunch. After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your free time. In the afternoon you’ll be picked up for a must-have in Naples, the Pizza Lesson. With the help of a "pizzaiolo" you can make the pizza following all steps, from making the dough to baking in a wood oven. You will not just be shown how to prepare the Neapolitan pizza but some secrets will also be revealed. You will also learn the interesting history of this unique dish. Then, take a seat and enjoy the pizza you have prepared with your own hands!

If you purchase one of our Group vacation packages, you will be escorted by a professional tour guide and will be traveling with other like-minded travelers you may not know. The group size depends on the tour you select. If you purchase one of our Private vacation packages, you will be traveling only within your group of friends. You may or may not be escorted by a professional tour guide; this depends on the type of private tour you are interested in.

When and how will I receive the travel documents (vouchers)?
If you book one of our Group or Private tours, you will receive your travel documents via email approximately 20 days prior to travel date. If you reserve one of our Vacation Rentals, you will hear back from the property manager via email a few days prior to checking-in. We recommend checking your emails on a regular basis as this is our most reliable method of communication. If you have questions or need additional support, you can always chat with us or email us directly.

What happens if a Group tour does not get confirmed?
It is very simple... you will be offered an alternative departure date or be refunded the full amount you pre-paid. No questions asked!

What happens after I book?
The majority of our tours are confirmed at the time of booking. This means that, after submitting the payment online, you will receive an order confirmation email; make sure to save this email and to note down your confirmation number for any future communication with us. Some tours may be sold on a 'on request' basis. This means that for these tours we reserve the right to check the availability of your spot(s) with the Tour Operator before confirming the tour to you. As soon as you submit the payment online for a 'on request' tour you will receive an email notification that confirms your order request. Within 72 hours, you will receive either a confirmation email or a denial email. Do not worry... we will do everything we can to confirm your tour!
