Many species, especially mammals and reptiles, can feed and reproduce here all year round. The island's most famous animal is the sea lion, which you can swim with. There is a colony of 300 individuals in the north of the archipelago. There are many activities available to explore the main island, including snorkelling, kayaking, trekking and diving where you may see giant rays, hammerhead sharks and turtles. The isolation of the archipelago, its volcanic origin and its contrasting landscapes of sea and desert will offer you a unique spectacle not to be missed.
Day 3 : Meet The First Capital Of Baja California
Location: Loreto
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Loreto bay
Today, you leave for the first capital of Baja California Sur: Loreto. It was here that the evangelisation of the four indigenous ethnic groups of the region began: the Pericues, Monguis, Guaycuras and Cochimis, with the establishment of several missions, including those of San Javier and Our Lady of Loreto. The "magic village" of Loreto faces a rich marine world, the Bahia de Loreto National Park protected by the CONANP, where the islands of Coronado, Carmen, Danzante, Montserrat and Santa Catalina are located. From December to March, the world's largest mammal, the blue whale, comes here to feed, reproduce and give birth.

Day In The Desert
Location: Loreto, San Ignacio

Today you leave for San Ignacio, located in the Vizcaino reserve and an oasis in the middle of the desert formed by the river of the same name. The atmosphere here is unique and you can enjoy this atmosphere in the cool of the night.

Day 5 : The Oldest City In Baja California
Location: Loreto
Accommodation: Hotel
Accommodation Name: Loreto bay
Today you will return to the oldest city in Baja California, Loreto. Visit the historic centre of the first Spanish colony and in particular the first Jesuit church built in 1697, the Loreto mission. Nearby is the Salvatierra square where you can admire its period architecture. You will then go to the "malecon", where you can find an excursion to enjoy the many landscapes of Loreto: the desert, the mountains and the sea. For nature lovers, there is no shortage of activities: boating, kayaking or diving, the choice is yours! For history buffs, take a trip along the missions route to understand the demographic and economic evolution of this territory, especially the most impressive and important one, San Javier.

Day 6 : The Grey Whale Of Puerto San Carlos

Today you will discover the oldest city in Baja California, Loreto. Visit the historic centre of the first Spanish colony and in particular the first Jesuit church built in 1697, the Loreto mission. You then head to Puerto San Carlos, which is located on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur. It is a small fishing port, which in winter is transformed into a tourist centre welcoming dozens of visitors wishing to discover the famous grey whale. Day 7 : Discovering The Fauna Of La Paz

Morning in Puerto San Carlos where a community of fishermen live facing the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the calm of the village and opt for a trip to the sea to observe the grey whales. Coming from the Arctic Ocean where they feed, they travel thousands of kilometres to come to reproduce and give birth to their young in the Pacific waters from December to March. An experience not to be missed! You then head to La Paz, an important city in the region. The capital of Baja California Sur offers many natural activities to discover its extremely varied fauna. This cosmopolitan city, which was once occupied by the Americans, is still far from mass tourism and hustle and bustle. At the end of the day, you will take a walk along the malecon, a promenade along the bay, to enjoy a magnificent sunset.

Accommodation Name: Posada Real Los Cabos
Today you will travel to the southern tip of the peninsula. On the way, stop in Todos Santos, famous for its colonial charm and artistic creativity. Today Todos Santos is a quiet oasis by the ocean, which is probably why the city has attracted so many artists, both Mexican and foreign. You will visit the main square "Plaza de Armas" surrounded by the most representative buildings of the city and take advantage of the many galleries and handicraft shops to buy a "Baja California" souvenir. Todos Santos is also known for its "Hotel California", made famous by the famous Eagles song. Arrive late in the day in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California's premier beach resort, known for its beaches, diving, fishing and grey whale watching. Together with its neighbour San José del Cabo, which is more artistic and quiet, they form the municipality of Los Cabos, a name by which they are often referred to. How does Today Voyages work?
We are an Online Travel Agency, specialized in Group Vacations and Private Vacations. We have been in business for over 30 years through our sister company Go West Tours and, throughout the years, have developed an extensive network of trusted professionals around the world and a structured methodology to screen our suppliers. Today Voyages offers a selection of tours that are designed, managed and operated by our network of trusted Tour Operators and DMCs. Our database is connected with our partners so that when you make a booking with us this will immediately be received and processed by the Tour Operator.
-
Where should I buy the flights to reach my destination?
Today Voyages does not sell flights directly. None of our tours come with flights included. Why? Because we prefer to give full flexibility to our valued customers to select the airlines and the booking platform they prefer. As soon as your flight is booked and confirmed, we invite you to update your flight plan within your Today Voyages booking confirmation page by entering your flight number, departure and arrival times, as well as your Passport information (if needed). None of these fields are mandatory but we highly encourage you to provide as much information as possible. This will allow us to provide you with the excellent service you are looking for.
-
What is an additional excursion or tour optional?
Certain tours might show a selection of additional excursions/optional activities that you may want to add to our standard itinerary. These services are priced separately and can be added to the cart before completing the booking. We believe these optional services to contribute to making your vacation unforgettable; however, you are in no way obliged to purchase them. All our tours are awesome with our without optional services!
-
What is the difference between Group Vacations and Private Vacations?
If you purchase one of our Group vacation packages, you will be escorted by a professional tour guide and will be traveling with other like-minded travelers you may not know. The group size depends on the tour you select. If you purchase one of our Private vacation packages, you will be traveling only within your group of friends. You may or may not be escorted by a professional tour guide; this depends on the type of private tour you are interested in.
-
When and how will I receive the travel documents (vouchers)?
If you book one of our Group or Private tours, you will receive your travel documents via email approximately 20 days prior to travel date. If you reserve one of our Vacation Rentals, you will hear back from the property manager via email a few days prior to checking-in. We recommend checking your emails on a regular basis as this is our most reliable method of communication. If you have questions or need additional support, you can always chat with us or email us directly.
-
What happens if a Group tour does not get confirmed?
It is very simple... you will be offered an alternative departure date or be refunded the full amount you pre-paid. No questions asked!
-
What happens after I book?
The majority of our tours are confirmed at the time of booking. This means that, after submitting the payment online, you will receive an order confirmation email; make sure to save this email and to note down your confirmation number for any future communication with us. Some tours may be sold on a 'on request' basis. This means that for these tours we reserve the right to check the availability of your spot(s) with the Tour Operator before confirming the tour to you. As soon as you submit the payment online for a 'on request' tour you will receive an email notification that confirms your order request. Within 72 hours, you will receive either a confirmation email or a denial email. Do not worry... we will do everything we can to confirm your tour!
