This afternoon visit the hidden gem that is La Piscine Museum at the former textile town of Roubaix, set in a stunning Art Deco swimming pool, whose contents include sample fabric books from the Art Nouveau period. Full day excursion to the historic Belgian city of Antwerp. Antwerp has a strong artistic heritage, exhibited in its fine museums and churches, and is particularly famed as the birthplace of Rubens. At the end of the 19th century, the city, considered conservative by some, embraced Art Nouveau with the construction of the ‘golden triangle’ neighbourhood in Zurenborg and a number of other extraordinary buildings throughout the city, including the Art Nouveau station, regarded by some as the most beautiful station in the world. We will also visit the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA) which reopened in September 2022 after a big decade-long renovation and houses a grand collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the 14th - 20th centuries.
Day 4:Musée Des Beaux Arts, Lille And Home.

Morning visit (on foot) to the superb collection at Lille's Musee des Beaux Arts, the second largest collection in France after the Louvre. Time allowed for lunch (not included) before transferring to the station for return Eurostar to St Pancras.
