Everyone was magnificent especially Julian Humphrys but all the people involved were lovely and informed. The hotel was great and the food was very good. I am going there again in October because I was so happy with it. I have travelled with you several times but this was the best! Sorry Morpurgo and Worsley but Julian knocks you into a cocked hat!

Mike and Julian were excellent hosts and guides. This is the sixth time, Julian has been on one of our our tours and he continues to be highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and witty. Turi's talk was also first class. I suggested to Julian a possible history tour of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. This might include battlefields at Evesham and Tewkesbury as well as cathedrals and Berkeley Castle. Well done everyone and expect to book next year.

An excellent trip as usual. Julian and Mike, the tour leaders were on excellent form, and so knowledgeable about everything. The only slight downside was the meal at Prebendal Manor; we were warned this was only a light lunch, so weren't expecting anything lavish of course, but it was a very cold day and pouring with rain, so it would have been nice to have some hot soup to go with the salad, and this wouldn't have been too difficult or costly. I'm already looking forward to next year, so please send brochure as soon as possible.

The Sunday morning trip to Kirby Muxlo was not good. The rest of the sessions were very good with the highlight being the talk by Mathew Morris, whose talk was excellent. Overall a most enjoyable weekend.
