Classic Everest Base Camp Trek

Today, you head out for sightseeing, and what you do is you visit higher known places that are in and around Kathmandu. All of these places are UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES. If you have the dream of the latter, explore Mohang, the birthplace of the re-incarnated Lama of Rongbuk Monastery of Tibet who is believed to have introduced Buddhism in the Everest Region, en route.

The trekking trail begins from Phortse Thanga by descending and extending to rhododendron forest, waterfall, Tongba Village, Dhole, Labarma and Luza villages, and Machhermo. The trail also takes you to Chorten and offers you a fine view of the Dudh Kosi River. Most of the trail runs by this river.
