The 10 days Langtang valley is ideal for trekkers looking to trek in a peaceful environment. This region is dominated by the Tibetan-influenced Tamang and also a few Sherpas peoples. Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

Location: Kathmandu

Accommodation: Hotel

After you arrive at Tribhuwan International airport, Uma holidays Travels & Tours representative will pick up you and transfer to the hotel. You can freshen up and have a walk around Thamel. In the evening Uma holidays Travels & Tours representative will give some briefing about your Langtang trek and routes. Overnight at hotel inclusive Breakfast.

Day 2 : Drive From Kathmandu To Syabrubesi (1,460M) 7-8 Hours.

After having breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, which takes about 7 to 8 hours by Tourist bus. We start north out of Kathmandu valley along the magnificent foothills. While passing through the road along the bank of Trisuli River, on the way, we can see a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, Tibet peaks, terraces, and green hills. overnight stay in the guesthouse.

Day 3 : Trek From Syabru Besi To Lama Hotel (2,380M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

From Syabru Besi, we start our first day trekking to the Lama hotel. We will follow the trails that go through the Langtang River and we pass through the dense forest. We'll cross suspension bridges and follow the trail as it goes up and down. After we reach Lama Hotel, we will spend our night at the local teahouse.

Day 4 : Trek From Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3,430M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After having breakfast at Lama Hotel, the trail ascends through dense rhododendron, oak and pine forests. The trail goes through that forest, we can see some snow-capped peaks of Langtang and a beautiful valley with grazing domestic animals like Yaks, cows, sheep, goats, and horses. The village is one of the oldest villages along with this trekking route and the view visible from here is very impressive. We will spend our night at Teahouse.

Day 5 : Trek From Langtang Village To Kyanjin Gompa (3,865M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

Location: Kyanjin Gompa

Leaving Langtang Village, today is an easy and short day trek to Kyanjing Gompa. It takes about 3-4 hours to reach to Kyanjing Gompa. This place is the last human settlement of the Langtang valley. At Kyanjing, we can explore the cheese factory and buy some cheese. The Yak cheese produced from this factory is famous all over the nation. Similarly, We can visit monasteries, which carry the religious values of the people living in the Langtang region. Overnight stay at Teahouse.

Day 6 - Exploration Day At Kyanjin Gompa. Hike To Kyanjin Ri (4773M).

Location: Kyanjin Ri

At Kyanjin Gompa, we will sightsee in and around Kyanjin Gompa. We will enjoy the amazing views of the natural beauty in the region. We will explore the old Buddhist monasteries and walk a little to have the view of icy cones of Langtang peaks and the glaciers originated from the Himalayas. We can also make another Hike to Tserko Ri (5000m.) or Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) where we can see the spectacular view of Lantang glaciers and Langshisha Kharka. And head back to the teahouse for overnight stay.

Day 7 : Trek From Kyanjin Gompa To Lama Hotel (2,470 M) Duration: 5- 6 Hours.

Location: Lama Hotel

From Kyanjin Gompa, we revert back our trek downhill to Lama Hotel. It is about six hours easy trek which goes through the beautiful dense green forest and ethnic Tamang settlements. Overnight stay at Teahouse.

Day 8 : Trek From Lama Hotel To Syabrubensi (1,460M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

Location: Syafru

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leaving Lama Hotel, we trek down to Syabrubesi. It is about 5 hours easy trek downhill through the lush green forest from Lama Hotel. Stay overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 9 : Drive Back To Kathmandu (1,350M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Location: Kathmandu

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

From Syabru Besi, we will take a Tourist bus from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu. After arriving at Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel where you can freshen up. If you like, enjoy some time shopping or eating in Thamel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10 : Transfer To The International Airport For Your Final Departure.

Location: International Terminal

You will be transferred to the international airport for your final departure to your loving home. It was a very amazing trip along the Langtang Valley; it is highly recommended to everyone who likes to trek with little crowd. We had a lot of fun, made some really nice photos and Everest beer was really great. You have to open it slow as it explodes on higher altitudes.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke English well. All permits and passes were taken care of by the agency; buses too. The route design was perfect, allowing us to acclimate before attempting to reach the top.

Our trip to Langtang was amazing. Agency took care of all the details from airport pickup/drop off, meals, and tea houses all included. Our guide was very knowledgeable and led us on a great trek. On Langtang we saw a variety of amazing views. We even hiked to 5000m! This was an amazing experience I will never forget.

I went to Langtang Valley Trek and don’t regret a moment, Whole trip was fantastic and guide and porter were the best. Fantastic people. The trek itself was challenging, ascending 2000m in the first few days. We saw eagles and monkeys, the landscape changing from forests with pretty rhododendron trees.
