Day 1 : Travel to Jinja - Sezibwa falls - Mabira forest walk - boat ride to the source of the nile
Location: Jinja

After an early breakfast, the driver picks you up at 7.00am to kick off your long adventure,
starting off with eastern Uganda. You will drive through Kampala and head eastwards along the
Kampala - Jinja highway. First turn-off is to the Sezibwa Falls, a Buganda cultural heritage site,
with beautiful waterfalls and cool atmosphere. Spend an hour here hiking the rocks, watching
birds, and learning about the myths of the falls and the ancient traditional worshiping that is still
practiced here. Thereafter return to the road and make another stopover at Mabira Rainforest -
the largest forest in Central Uganda. Head out for a 2 hour trek to the track the habituated Grey
cheeked Mangabeys, watch lots of birds, monkeys, squirrels, and enjoy the aroma of an African
jungle. Return and get back on the road and drive to Jinja. Check in at your accommodation,
have lunch and thereafter head out for an hour boat ride on Lake Victoria to the Source of the
Nile. Transfer to your lodge.

Day 2 : Transfer to Sipi falls - community coffee tour

After breakfast at 7.30am, check out, drive out of Jinja and head further eastwards through
Mbale town to Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa District. The Sipi Falls are a series of three stunning
waterfalls situated in the foothills of Mountain Elgon. Check in at the accommodation (Sipi
River Lodge), refresh, and thereafter head out for a 3 - 4 hour trek up and down the foothills of
Mountain Elgon, visiting each of the three waterfalls and enjoying spectacular vistas from up
Mountain Elgon to the flat plains of Karamoja in the distance.
Return to your lodge for lunch. Later you could opt to walk through the local communities
and coffee farmlands. Dinner and overnight is at the lodge. Sipi river lodge
Day 3 : Transfer to Kidepo valley national park

After early breakfast, embark on a long drive to the north of Uganda and get to Kidepo Valley
National Park - arguably Africa's most spectacular wilderness. Lunch en-route. Arrive to the
park in the evening and transfer your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Early morning game drive - cultural/community encounter
Location: Kidepo Valley National Park

Early morning game drive with viewing the park’s endowed diversity of wildlife such as
elephants, leopard, warthogs, ostriches, buffaloes, giraffes and lions and continue to bird
watching in the Narus Valley. After the game drive, return to the camp in time for lunch and
later go for an evening cultural tour to interact with the Karamojong community. Here you will
get an opportunity of seeing how the locals go about their day today lives from the activities that
keep them occupied all day every day to their cultural practices. You will most definitely realize
why most Africans are reluctant to completely giving up on their traditional practices. Return to
the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 5 : Morning nature walk - evening game drive
Location: Kanangorok Hot Springs
Accommodation Name: Kidepo Savannah Lodge
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Have breakfast and head out for Nature walk experience coupled with a brief drive to the
Kanangorok Hot Springs. You will pass by some magnificent landscapes and rocky
outcrops. Chances are you will get to see some ostriches as there are often see in this part
of the park. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax a bit as you get ready for your evening
game drive.
The game drive takes 3 hours as you will be looking out for the wildlife as they retire for the day
as well. When the game drive is done, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight, relax
and get ready for your departure tomorrow.
Day 6 : Breakfast - travel back to Kampala (drop off at desired destination)

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Have breakfast by 6:00 am, check out of the lodge and travel back to Kampala. You will most
definitely have lunch en-route that will be coupled with a lot of stopovers at scenic places and
to stretch your legs and relax the muscles.
