Our adventure will start in the morning, heading towards the Awanakancha Museum, an animal shelter with an exhibition of traditional Peruvian textiles.
Our next stop is the Archeological Site of Pisac, located at 3,300 meters above sea level, offering incredible views of its surroundings and the Sacred Valley.
We will also visit the Pisac Artisan Market, which comprehends a cultural expression full of diversity, where the most talented artisans sell their handmade pieces, as well as food, vegetables, fruits, and more.
After a whole morning full of history and adventure, now it’s time to take a break and enjoy the famous peruvian gastronomy in a buffet restaurant. At Tunupa Restaurant, you will be surrounded by the soothing sound of the Urubamba River.
The small town of Ollantaytambo is one of the perfect examples of Inca urbanism. Its cobbled streets will leave you breathless as well as the Inca open draining system. You will also visit the archeological site, recognized as the only place that defeated the Spanish army during colonization for almost 50 years.
You will continue your experience to Aguas Calientes with a train ride from the Ollantaytambo Train Station. At your arrival in Aguas Calientes, one of our guides will take you to your hotel.

Day 2 : Machu Picchu Guided Tour + Train To Cusco
Location: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu station, Cusco

Our team will take you from the hotel to board the bus up to Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu’s main entrance.
Our professional guide will provide details and information about this wonder of the world, including the mysteries and fascinating facts of the Inca culture. After our time in Machu Picchu, we’ll go back to Aguas Calientes to return to the city of Cusco.
On this occasion, the train will take you to Poroy Train Station, which is located 30 minutes away from Cusco. Our team will be waiting for you to take you back to the hotel in Cusco.

Can I choose seats on train trips?
Unfortunately, Peru Rail (the railway company) does not allow passengers to choose seats on any of their different types of train. The distribution of these is done automatically by the company’s system.

Is there a limit to luggage that can be brought on the tour?
Bags that weigh more than 5kg are not allowed on the train or in the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Therefore, you must leave your large luggage in the storage service of your accommodation. For your trip to Machu Picchu, we highly recommend carrying a light backpack with just the essentials for your comfort.
