This safari takes you to track the Mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable forest park which is one of Uganda’s oldest parks. It is the most biologically diverse rainforests which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. In addition, you will visit L. Mburo National park famous for zebras and the Impalas from which Kampala city was named after.

Day 1 : Arrival At Entebbe – Lake Mburo National Park

On arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be received by our representative, your driver/guide and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, having a stopover at the Equator for the water experiment, photos and lunch depending on the time of arrival then later proceed on to the Park entering with a mini game drive in search for wildlife that includes the Zebras, Impala, Topes, Water buck, Eland, Klipspringers, Dwarf Mongoose, Warthogs, Bush Bucks and Leopards among others
Day 2 : Lake Mburo – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early morning breakfast, you will do a nature walk in the park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, enroute, stopover for lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre or Agip Motel. We later drive on through the rolling hills of Mbarara and Kabale as we head to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where the rare and endangered mountain gorillas are found.
Day 3 : Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After a great night in a natural environment, you wake up to a beautiful view of the sunrise over the misty Bwindi Impenetrable national park, have breakfast and at about 7:45am, with our packed lunch, we move to the park offices for registration and briefing before we start the gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Gorilla trekking can be quite exciting in that sometimes you climb steep hills under muddy conditions and it’s unpredictable how long this will take because it always depends on the movement of these great Apes. There are many factors that determine the movement of the mountain gorillas and food availability is one of them, but generally the activity can take between 2 to 8 hours.
Day 4 : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Kampala
Location: Kampala
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast we drive back to Kampala, with stopovers/toilet breaks at Kabale and Mbarara, lunch en-route. We shall also have a stopover at the Equator for another chance to enjoy the water experiment and look at the craft shops. We then proceed on to Entebbe Airport for your flight home. Or if you would like, we could arrange for you accommodation for the night at an extra cost.
