This 8 days wildlife and adventure safari in Uganda will take you to Queen Elizabeth National park where you will enjoy game viewing, boat cruise and tree climbing lions in Ishasha. You will then be ushered into Bwindi Impenetrable forest the home of Mountain Gorillas which shares 98% of the human DNA and this will be your safari highlight. From there, you will visit Lake Mburo National park that is the home of zebras, and other animals like impalas from which Kampala was named, zebras, buffaloes among others. The tour will end with the visit to Jinja the adventure capital of Uganda where you will see the source of the river Nile, the longest river in the world and test your adrenaline with white water rafting on the rapids of the Nile.

Day 1 : Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver-guide for a meet and greet, briefing before setting off for Queen Elizabeth National park which is one of Uganda’s outstanding wildlife National parks with over 600 bird species, mammals like elephants, buffaloes among others. During the journey you will enjoy great views of the savannah, not forgetting the rare opportunity to take pictures at the equator. On reaching the park go for a game drive in the evening where you will see a number of animals. Dine and sleep at the lodge.
Day 2 : Game Drive & Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth Park

After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive at Kasenyi plains where you will see different wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, also view different crater lakes.
After the 3-hour drive, head back for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you expect to see aquatic life like crocodiles, hippos a variety of elephants, and buffaloes quenching their thirst along the river banks, not forgetting over 1000 bird species at the channel. You will then retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Transfer To Bwindi Forest Through The Ishasha Sector

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set off to Ishasha with our parked lunch in anticipation of seeing the tree-climbing lions and a variety of other savannah animals. After Ishasha, you will proceed with your journey to Bwindi the habitat of the Mountain gorillas. This journey will take you through Kigezi highlands and its various terraced hills. You will check in to your lodge have dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Mountain Gorilla Tracking Safari.

After early morning breakfast, you will set off to the park headquarters for a briefing about how you are expected to conduct yourself when you are with the gorillas. You will then be led by the rangers into the jungle to track gorillas an activity that usually takes 2 hours to about 8 hours depending on where the gentle giants slept the previous day. Upon finding the gorillas, you are allowed to spend a maximum of one hour and you cannot be more than eight people per tracking group.
You will then retire to the lodge for a rest and for those who are interested, an evening community walk can be organised at an extra cost.
Day 5 : Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park- Home Of Zebras

After breakfast, embark on an approximately 5-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park which is among Uganda’s smallest parks. With lunch en-route, you will be passing through stunning sceneries, farms, and plantations. The park is home to a big number of Zebras, also impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks and also over 332 bird species made it their home.
Upon arrival, you will undertake an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Mburo, and prepare your camera to take enough photographs. If interested, horseback riding can be organised for you at an extra cost. You will then retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : Drive To Jinja Through Kampala

Enjoy an early breakfast in preparation for a game drive as you exit the park to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator line in Kayabwe for a photo moment, souvenir shopping, and lunch before continuing to Kampala and consequently, Jinja is home to the source of river Nile which will be our final destination for the day. Along the way to Jinja, you will be stunned by the beautiful views of Mabira forest, sugar, and tea plantations. We shall arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge/hotel
Day 7 : White Water Rafting & Discovering The Nile

After an early breakfast, we set off for a boat cruise that will usher us to the source of the river Nile. You should have enough storage on the camera because you will encounter many photogenic places. You will then have your lunch and go for half day rafting on the rapids of the Nile, none the less Jinja is the adventure capital of Uganda. Upon your return, you can decide to rest at your accommodation or engage in optional activities like bungee jumping or kayaking or quad biking or Horse riding at an extra cost. You can also decide to enjoy the nightlife of the city.
Day 8 : Return To Kampala To Entebbe International Airport
Location: Airport Road

Take breakfast and leave Jinja for Kampala the capital of Uganda, buy some souvenirs to take home with you. You will then be transferred to Entebbe airport for your flight. In case your flight is late, you can wait for it from Entebbe botanical gardens or Uganda wildlife education center, but you will pay for yourself entrance.
