This tour starting with the glow of Chennai then we will take you on a journey to the ancient temples of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. After enjoying the Periyar wildlife tour, move forward to the backwaters of Kumarakom and finally enjoy the houseboat journey at Alleppey.

Day 1 : Arrival At Chennai

Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour to Chennai, visit the famous Marina Beach (the second largest in the world), Kapaleeshwar Temple, Fort St.George (the oldest fort in Chennai). Thereafter, head straight to Santhome Cathedral, National Art Gallery, St.Mary’s Church, Anna Zoological Park, Birla Planetarium and People’s Park. Also visit Kalakshetra and Theosophical Society.

Day 3 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (60 Kms / 1:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out and drive to Mahabalipuram, via en-route visit to Kanchipuram the city of 1000 temples and one of the seven sacred cities in India, here you can visit the Kamakshi Amman Temple, The Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple, Varadaraja Perumal Temple and Ekambareswarar Temple etc. Later continue drive to Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram, check-in to your hotel for night stay. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 4 : Mahabalipuram - Kumbakonam (230 Kms / 4:30 Hrs)

Today early morning after breakfast and check out form hotel, later drive to Kumbakonam, en-route visit the Thirukadalmallai, Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance, Caves, and Krishna’s Butterball after visit continue your drive to Kumbakonam. Day 5 : Kumbakonam - Darasuram - Thanjavur - Trichy (100 Kms / 2:30 Hrs)

Location: Tiruchirappalli, Dharasuram, Thanjavur

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel, later proceed for Trichy, en-route visit to the Airavatesvara Temple - is a Hindu temple of Dravidian architecture located in the town of Darasuram, as an example of Chola architecture. Next, destination to visit Brihadeeswara Temple - is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located in Thanjavur. Day 6 : Trichy - Chettinad - Madurai (171 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)

Day 8 : Madurai - Periyar (150 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)
