Tour Overview

As you explore the capital of Amman, you'll be enchanted by its lively markets, delicious cuisine, and mix of modern skyscrapers with historic sites such as the Roman Theatre. Known for its exquisite mosaics, Madaba features a mosaic of cultures that echoes the region's ancient history, while the unique buoyancy and therapeutic minerals of the Dead Sea create an unforgettable wellness experience. Umm al-Rasas and Jerash transport you to different eras: Umm al-Rasas is an archaeological puzzle with ancient churches and mosaics, and Jerash is a living testimony of Roman civilization with its well-preserved ruins and amphitheater. The lush landscapes of Ajloun and Ajloun Castle invite you to enter a greener, more serene world, rich in history and natural beauty. Petra, hidden behind rose-red cliffs, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The city's intricate architecture, carved into the rock, will leave you in awe, and its rich history and hidden treasures are waiting to be discovered. Finally, Aqaba, Jordan's only coastal city, offers relaxation and adventure. Its crystal-clear waters are home to colorful marine life, making it a paradise for snorkelers and divers, while its boardwalks and luxurious resorts provide an ideal setting to relax. Jordan is a land of contrasts, where ancient history meets modern life, and the beauty of nature is both serene and exciting. It is a place where the warmth of its people matches the beauty of its landscapes and invites you to explore its multifaceted character with open arms.

Highlights

  • Amman: The Capital of Jordan

  • Ajlun: The lush landscapes of Ajloun and Ajloun Castle invite you to enter a greener, more serene world, rich in history and natural beauty.

  • Jerash: north of the capital Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it’s known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade. The Jerash Archaeological Museum displays artifacts excavated from the site.

  • Dead Sea: A spectacular natural wonder the Dead Sea that is located 427 meters below sea level is perfect for wellness and religious tourism, fun in the sun with the family. With its mix of beach living and religious history you can soak up the sun while Biblical scholars can get their daily dose of religious history. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the Dead Sea's rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking up the water's healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian sun.

  • Madaba: Madaba is a combination of rural home life and a hot spot for religious tourism. Known as the “City of Mosaics”, Madaba is the cultural epicenter for Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Just a short distance from the capital, visitors are just a stone's throw away from the holy monuments of religious iconography.

  • Mount Nebo: Mount Nebo is the highest point in the ancient Kingdom of Moab, referenced in Abrahamic texts as the site of Mount Nebo this township was first inhabited by a Christian nomadic tribe in the 4th century. Explore your religious roots in the religious town or visit Mt. Nebo where it is believed that Moses died as he viewed the Holy Land. "And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho." (Deuteronomy 34:1). On a clear day there is a magnificent panoramic view over the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with the towers of Jerusalem visible on the skyline.

  • Umm Ar Rasas: an ancient city that was referred to in both The Old and New Testaments – the Unesco World Heritage Site is home to stunning mosaic floors.

  • Petra: One of the 7 wonders of the world is a 10,000-year-old city hidden in the desert — and in real life, it's more incredible than you can imagine

  • Wadi Rum: known also as the Valley of the Moon is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan.

  • Aqaba: Aqaba's strategic location at the northeastern tip of the Red Sea between the continents of Asia and Africa has made its port important throughout thousands of years. The ancient city was called Elath, adopted in Latin as Aela and in Arabic as Ayla.
