Day 1 : Hanoi – Sapa - Cat Cat Village - Sapa

Location: Hanoi, Sa Pa, Cat Cat Village, Notre Dame Cathedral

06:00 am, your trip starts with a pickup from the bus station, boarding a sleeping bus to Sapa. Traveling along the highway to Lao Cai city, you'll take a break before ascending the mountain road to Sapa Town, offering views of terraced fields and valleys.

Arriving in Sapa, you'll see locals in traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic groups. After a welcome drink, lunch with Vietnamese dishes, and check-in, you'll walk to Cat Cat village, home of the Black H’mong. Here, you'll learn about local life, trek to a waterfall and an old French Hydraulic Power Station, and enjoy scenic views.

The day ends with a return to Sapa Town for dinner and an overnight hotel stay, complete with evening activities.

Day 2 : Sapa – Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Hanoi

Location: Sa Pa, Sa Pa, Check-in Point, Muong Hoa valley, Hoang Lien Son, Ta Van

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

06:30 am, enjoy breakfast at your hotel and prepare for a morning trek. Travel to Y Linh Ho for a trek through rice terraces to Lao Chai, a Black Hmong village, and then to Ta Van, home to the Dzay people. The trek, about 9 km, offers stunning mountain scenery and lasts 3.5 hours.

A bus will collect you from Ta Van Bridge around midday, returning you to Sapa for a shower, hotel checkout, lunch, and some free time.

01:30 pm, regroup at the hotel to depart for Hanoi. The return trip includes two comfort breaks and ends with your arrival at the Hanoi bus station in the evening, concluding the journey.

A must-do! A great way to kick off a trip to Sapa! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great time. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to all of us. The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible.

Provides value for money and covers of the major sites in Sapa, guide was had very good English and knowledge of the various villages and area Hotel whilst good appeared to have ben rushed to complete/open as it was new, and a number of services were not available, also appeared that the booking for my accommodation had not been organised as there was some confusion when we arrived

Moderate fitness required!! Lots of walking and steps, but beautiful views. Transport there was comfy, but there was a 1hr delayed due to a road accident.. and I think the usual sapa unique hotel was fully booked hence we were housed in sapa mountain hotel just a few meters away. Meals were provided at the former hotel tho - they serve 1 soup 3 dishes and fruits. Overall itinerary was well planned, but just to share that day 1 to Lao Chai - about 6km trek, and you will be greeted by the Hmong people the moment u alight.. I think they r quite aggressive in trying to get you to buy their products from them.

We enjoyed our stay at Unique Sapa hotel. All meals are provided at the hotel and the amount is more than enough. The hotelier always made sure we are taken care of. It was foggy when we were in sapa during the last week of Dec, so we couldn’t see any views at all the attractions, including fansipan. Local tour guide Cai speak good English.

The weather is unexpected (living in a cloud) but thats how life is. It isn't something the tour group can control but everything else went amazing! The portion and variety of the food gave us enough fuel. The pace of the tours were really comfortable, we managed to squeeze in time to view the Sapa townsquare too. Really glad I went with this tour through a friend's recommendation. Big shoutout to Chai, my local tour guide, who was forthcoming with answers about the local culture. 🤗💯 Guided by a hoard of locals (optional to buy the handmade accessories, not an obligation)
