Day 1 : Arrival & Leisure Choices In Archidona

Depending on your arrival time, we recommend taking advantage of one of our optional activities at the lodge (not included). You have several choices, such as strolling through our 120-hectare private reserve, taking a refreshing swim in our stunning Springwater pool, or indulging in a dip in the crystal-clear Inchillaqui River. Guided activities are also available, including exploring our reserve with a native guide who will highlight the main medicinal plants of the Amazon, embarking on a horseback ride to explore the breathtaking tropical scenery, or participating in an artisan chocolate workshop (from bean to bar). Please inform us of your preferences in advance so we can secure your desired activity. In the evening, a delectable three-course gourmet dinner awaits you.

Day 2 : Amazoonico Tour & Native Community Visit

Following a satisfying breakfast, our journey begins with a drive to the Napo River put-out point. There, we'll embark on a traditional motorized dugout canoe to cruise down the river towards the "Amazoonico" animal rescue center. Our adventure continues with a jungle walk through both secondary and primary rainforests, where we'll delve into the realm of medicinal plants, diverse flora, and fascinating insects. Along the way, we'll delve into discussions on sustainability, conservation efforts, and the profound connection between native cultures and the rainforest. A midday picnic by the river sets the stage for our visit to a native family, offering insights into the Kichwa way of life and the traditional art of making Chicha, a local drink. Our enriching day concludes with a visit to the bustling local market in Tena, where vibrant displays of forest and river products provide a deeper understanding of the Amazon basin. Returning to the lodge in the afternoon, we'll have ample time to enjoy its amenities before relishing a delightful three-course dinner at the restaurant in the evening.

Day 3 : Jungle Rafting Adventure

We kick off the day with a scrumptious breakfast before making our way to the put-out spot along the Jatunyacu River for an adventure-packed day of excitement and waves. Our river expedition spans approximately 25 km (about 15.5 miles) of thrilling rapids, serene natural pools, and breathtaking Amazonian vistas. Along the journey, we'll discover tranquil spots along the riverbanks perfect for unwinding and indulging in a picnic lunch. Upon our return to the lodge in the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy all the amenities it has to offer. As night falls, we'll gather for a delightful three-course dinner at our restaurant.

Day 4 : Free Time & Departure
