Day 1 : Zagreb

Location: Zagreb

Welcome to ZAGREB! Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will arrive with the group from Slovenia around lunch time. Then we will take a sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will have a chance to admire its two hills, the upper town and the new neighborhoods of Croatia’s capital city. Dinner included.

Day 2 : Zagreb, Banja Luka, Jajce, Sarajevo

Location: Zagreb, Banja Luka, Jajce, Sarajevo

We will leave first thing in the morning to travel to Bosnia. The border area still shows sad memories of the conflict that took place in the 1990s. We cross the Serb-majority Bosnia. First stop, BANIA LUKA, and time to walk through the capital of the autonomous entity of the Srpska Republika, the second largest city in Bosnia after Sarajevo, with its fortress and orthodox cathedral. Then, departure to JAJCE, perhaps the most beautiful town in Bosnia, with its cultural mix, its mosque, its fortress and its impressive waterfall (admission included). Time for a walk. We continue our journey to SARAJEVO, arriving in the evening. We will have time in the historic center, during which you can stroll through the charming Bazaar, an old Ottoman market famous for its architecture, oriental atmosphere and traditional shops. Dinner included.

Day 3 : Sarajevo, Mostar, Dubrovnik

Location: Sarajevo, Mostar, Dubrovnik

In the morning we will have a sightseeing tour with a local guide in SARAJEVO, a fascinating city known as "Jerusalem of Europe" due to the coexistence of several religions. Mosques, churches and synagogues reflect religious diversity. We will observe the great Ottoman influence in its old town, with its great mosque of more than 500 years old and its beautiful fountain. After the visit we continue our route in an area of pure beauty. MOSTAR with its wonderful historic center and its stone bridge that separates the Orthodox, Muslim and Catholic communities. Time for lunch and stroll through the city. We continue to Croatia. Border procedures (can be long). DUBROVNIK, arrival at the end of the day. Dinner included.

Day 4 : Dubrovnik

In the morning we enjoy a city tour of DUBROVNIK with a local guide. We are undoubtedly in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, surrounded by walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea; its intact historic center is a jewel of world architectural heritage. The tour includes tickets to the Franciscan Monastery with the oldest pharmacy in Europe, and the Cathedral. We also include a boat trip to LOKRUM, a small island 15 minutes by boat from Dubrovnik and home to the ruins of a Benedictine monastery of the eleventh century, popular setting of the series "Game of Thrones". You can then enjoy free time, returning to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner included. Note: in some departures, accommodation may be in Cavtat, a coastal town near the city of Dubrovnik.Note: in the winter months, from November to March, there is no boat service to Lokrum and therefore we cannot visit the island.

We set off in the morning, travelling along the Croatian coastline which displays amazing seascapes and islands. En route we will make a stop in STON, a picturesque town that has one of the longest walls in the world. We continue amidst pleasant landscapes, where the great Peljeski bridge crossing the sea stands out. We will arrive in SPLIT in the afternoon. We include a visit with a local guide and admission to the Diocletian’s Palace. We will explore this immense palace of the Roman times, its labyrinth of streets and views over the sea. Dinner included.

We will travel to the interior region of Croatia, going through beautiful landscapes to finally arrive in PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK, which has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. We will enter the park where you can admire the park’s lakes and waterfalls. Take the opportunity to walk along the trails or take a boat and sail through the waters of the lakes. After lunch we will travel back to the coast towards the north of Croatia. Upon reaching OPATIJA, you can have dinner (included) and stroll in this resort town which offers a charming nightlife.Note: In exceptional circumstances, either due to weather conditions or high numbers of tourists, it may not be possible or advisable to use the train or boat in Plitvice.

Day 7 : Opatija, Postoina, Bled, Liubliana

Location: Opatija, Postoina, Bled, Liubliana

Today we will travel to Slovenia. We will visit POSTOJNA Cave, one of the world’s biggest caves which is partially toured by train. After this, we will travel to BLED, a stunning postcard town on the shore of a lake, and in the middle of the lake, there is an island where the bell tower of a monastery stands at the foot of a medieval castle. My husband and I booked...

31-Jan-2024

My husband and I booked Europamundo's Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia tour in October 2023. It was an amazing experience. This is our second trip with them. Starting from the hotels to places that they took us in 08 days and the guides were excellent. All hotels were 4 star with quality breakfast and dinners were all in the hotel which was a great plus. Our guide Igor was patient and kind. the thing I loved the most is you meet people from so many different countries and you end up making friends for lifetime. Our group had 45 people from all over the world but our guide was kind enough and he did a great job by switching in Spanish and English. I will recommend it to all not only because its affordable but also you get quality and its worth every penny.

Highly satisfied with the management...

16-Oct-2023

Highly satisfied with the management and employees of Europomondo. Me, with my wife and one grown-up daughter took "Discover Italy" tour from Europomondo. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and executed accordingly so that tourists can get a perfect picture of whole of Italy during the specified time. Though it was hectic and we had to walk a lot.....but we were informed about this fact beforehand. Our coach was very comfortable and its driver Mr Marco is an amazing person. He is gentle in nature as well as in driving. Our regular guide Ms Paula is ever smiling and helpful in nature with a vast knowledge of the subject she is speaking about and has a sense of responsibility. All the hotels were comfortable though we had very little time to enjoy our hotel stay. Our first hotel , G P Hotel in Roam, is the best among the lot. Also appreciate the pickup and drop service , which are very punctual . Over all time management was praiseworthy. Though small hitch was there with one or two hotels, considering the vastness of the tour and overall arrangements those small hitches can be ignored. Looking forward for a next tour with Europomondo

Just finished a 3 week...

22-Oct-2023

Just finished a 3 week tour not do long ago. Most of it was great, I couldn't ask for a better experience. Except for 1 tour guide (Maria). First of she and the driver was over an hour late to our hotel to pick every one up, which is fair enough, unexpected things happen. Then I thought that everyone was punished due to them being late. We were rushed everywhere we went. She made us pay for a toilet only to walk us down to the city centre to only allow us 45 minutes to find a restaurant to have so called lunch at around 3:00pm. Then we drove for at least 6 hours with very little breaks, not even to allow everyone to have toilet breaks. I would recommend eurpomando but not Maria as a tour guide. Every other tour guide we had were fantastic.

We had an incredible time...

12-Dec-2023

We had an incredible time visiting Switzerland and Paris, and there was no need to worry about anything. The organization was perfect, and the hotels were booked and all this was at a resonable cost. But an issue arose with an extremely rude and unpleasant driver(Andres) for one of the days, who abruptly slammed the brakes on a high-speed bus because he was angry at kids talking. This could have been very dangerous for the passengers also. Would have given 5 stars if it wasbt for the driver

The absolute worst. They do...

02-Sep-2023

The absolute worst. They do not follow the itinerary provided. When we arrived in Versailles, tickets are sold out since instead of morning, they changed it to 3-4pm where all the tickets are sold out. Whole day wasted. Most of the museums/sights they state in their itinerary, they will just bring you there, entrance fee is not included. They will only bring you to free places, so just be aware that you will not be getting your money’s worth. Bus is ALWAYS late, today our meetup time is 7:45am, the bus arrived 8:25am, since they had to pick up other guest from a totally different hotel. They frequently change buses, it is a hit or miss. There are times where the airconditioner is good, leg space is acceptable. There are also times, they would rent a bus from a different company, where it is very cramped. Guide: they know the basics but not the nitty gritty details. For example they would just point you “Oh this is blah building, without any further explanation.” Hotels are mostly 4 star hotels with really shitty customer service. Once I had a room (cant remember the hotel in Lyon, France) assigned to me where the room has not been cleaned up. GROSS. One of the other hotel (Dormero Hotel, Zurich), did not have a reception staff at night, so when we were a defective bath tub, we had no one to complain to.

If you like to be...

13-Nov-2023

If you like to be stressed, rushed and be placed in nasty hotels without air conditioning and rude staff then this is the tour company for you. I just came back from a 10 day trip with them. You spend a ridiculously amount of time in the bus, they are disorganized and don’t give you enough time in the cities. They expect you to see an entire city, eat and use the restroom in 1 hour. The bus WILL leave you in you are not back on time. Also, it is NOT IDEAL FOR SENIORS OR PEOPLE WITH ANY TYPE OF DISABILITIES. Two drivers got pissed when they saw we had a walker and one of them kept saying how the company does not allow drivers to get enough rest which can cause accidents. They have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They leave you far from the hotel entrance in the middle of the street at night with all of your luggage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
