This 09-day tour will take you through the major cities of Italy as you travel by rail. Begin your journey in Rome, the capital of Italy known for its stunning architecture. Get a chance to see Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spain Square and Trevi Fountain. Next, you will board a high-speed train to Florence. Spent 2 days in Florence and explore the city famous for its Renaissance art, architecture, monuments, and galleries (Accademia and the Uffizi). Then you will reach Venice by rail also known as “City of water”. Be ready for the opportunity of a lifetime and ride “Gondola” the traditional, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat. Next day discover Venice city up close. Next Morning you will head towards Milan, discover most famous symbols of Milan such as the Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco, the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and the Navigli, the famous canals, the very hub of the Milanese nightlife and Your tour will end in Milan.

Day 1: Usa / Canada - Rome
Today you will Arrival at Rome Fiumicino airport and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day free time at your disposal for a first exploratory tour of the Eternal City. A 24-hour ticket for a double-decker tourist bus (with multilingual audio guide) is included, which can also be used for getting around the city, ideal for those who want to go sightseeing on their own to discover the most famous symbols of Rome, such as the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Spain Square.
In case of an early arrival in Rome, we recommend a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica, to admire Michelangelo's famous Sistine Chapel and other masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance more closely. It is also possible to participate in a series of other optional activities, such as a Segway or Vespa tour, a cooking lesson to learn how to make pizza and ice cream.
For dinner, we suggest trying a typical Roman restaurant.
Overnight in Rome
Day 2: Rome (B/-/-)
Today after breakfast, you will have e another day dedicated to discovering the city. We suggest our tour of Imperial Rome, to closely admire the monuments of the Roman Forum, enter the Colosseum and listen to our guides presentation of the evocative history of ancient Rome and the gladiators fights that took place there.
Or you can join an excursion to Naples and Pompeii to discover the enchanting city of Naples and the archaeological site of Pompeii.
Day 3: Rome - Florence (B/-/-)
In the morning after breakfast, make your way (transfer not included) to the Rome Termini station to board the high-speed train to Florence; the journey takes about 1h 30. After arriving, hotel accommodation and free time available for an independent visit of the city, the 'cradle of the Renaissance'. Among the places that certainly are worth being seen, we must include Piazza Della Signoria, the medieval heart of the city, Piazza Santa Croce with its past noble families buildings, and the home of Dante, the Supreme Poet author of the Divine Comedy.
A small taste of typical local products is included to make a pleasant stop during a first exploratory tour of the city and its wonders.
Possibility of a guided skip-the-line tour of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which guarantees exclusive access to the famous Brunelleschi dome and above all to the terraces of the church, which offer a breath-taking view of the city from above.
Alternatively, those who are fond of food can have an engaging Italian cooking lesson, which begins at the \"Central Market\", the largest, most vibrant and colourful food market in the city. Here the chef will illustrate the various local specialities and teach you how to recognize the best and tastiest ingredients. At the end of the lesson, you will be released a certificate of participation and a recipe book.
Overnight in Florence
Day 4: Florence (B/-/-)
Enjoy your Breakfast and then full day dedicated to the discovery of Florence.
It is possible to participate in a guided walking tour that reaches the symbols of the city (Piazza Della Repubblica, Piazza Della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio with the goldsmiths' shops), or a guided tour of one of the main museums: the Uffizi Galleries, with the masterpieces of the masters of the Italian Renaissance (Leonardo, Caravaggio, Raffaello, Tiziano, Botticelli and many others), or the Accademia Gallery, which houses the original of Michelangelo's famous statue of David.
Alternatively, you can go on half-day or full-day excursions to discover the neighbouring places of interest such as the Chianti district with its world-famous wines or Pisa the city of the Leaning Tower or more distant places but with an indisputable charm such as the Cinque Terre.
Day 5: Florence - Venice (B/-/-)
Today after breakfast, make your own way (transfer not included) to the railway station to board the high-speed train to Venice S. Lucia. The journey takes about 2h 15'. After arriving, hotel accommodation, so in the afternoon there will be a 30-minute “gondola ride” with commentary via app on your mobile phone. The gondola, the iconic Venetian wooden boat, can accommodate up to 6 people and will be shared with other passengers.
Before dinner in Venice, it is traditional to have an aperitif based on “cichéti” (small snacks) in one of the many “bacari” (taverns) scattered along the “calli” (that is what the Venetian streets are called): a must experience to try, absolutely!
Alternatively, you can participate in the guided tour on ghosts and legends, an evocative itinerary in a mysterious and secret Venice.
Overnight in Venice
Day 6: Venice (B/-/-)
In the morning after breakfast, a full day dedicated to the discovery of Venice or its lagoon.
You can take a guided walking tour through the most famous places in the city (Piazza San Marco with the Basilica and the Clock Tower, the Rialto Bridge, Campo Santa Maria Formosa) and others less known; or a skip-the-line guided tour of the Doge's Palace, with the Doge's luxurious apartments and the famous Bridge of Sighs.
Alternatively, you can go on a boat trip to the islands of the Venice lagoon: Murano, known all over the world for its famous glass craftmanship; Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the picturesque fishermen's houses all painted in bright colours; and Torcello, the first settlement centre in the lagoon.
For the sporty ones, there is also the option of a Venetian rowing lesson, a unique experience to learn traditional punting techniques and navigate the canals of the city.
Overnight in Venice
Day 7: Venice - Milan (B/-/-)
Today after breakfast, board the high-speed train to Milan. The journey takes about 2h 30 '. After arriving, hotel accommodation and free time for all to visit the city on ones own. A one-day ticket for the hop-on / hop-off tourist bus (with multilingual audio guide) is included, which can also be used to get around the city, ideal for those who want to go sightseeing on their own to discover the most famous symbols of Milan, such as the Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco, the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and the Navigli, the famous canals, the very hub of the Milanese nightlife. You can continue your visit to the city with an unusual treasure hunt, an interactive and fun activity, or you can visit the Teatro alla Scala and its museum, a unique experience to discover one of the most famous theatre houses in the world.
Alternatively, you can give yourselves a nice shopping walk around, as Milan is the capital of Italian fashion, or to reach the city of Como, thanks to its proximity, with its enchanting lake.

Day 8: Milan - Usa / Canada (B/-/-)
Today, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and proceed with check out formalities and, at the appropriate time, make your own way (transfer not included) to the airport or the station.

Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
