Day 1 : Arrive In Mexico City!

Hola and welcome to Mexico City! On arrival we’ll meet you at the airport and take you to our hotel in the heart of the country’s biggest city. You’ll have time to relax before meeting up with your new group of mates, and this evening we’ll head out and immerse ourselves in the capital’s intoxicating atmosphere and get exited for the adventures to come!
Day 2 : Explore Mexico City

What a place to begin our adventure! Known for mountainous surrounds, rich history and incredible buildings, we’ll kick things off with an orientation around the historical centre. Wandering bustling streets, we’ll learn about the Aztec Empire and history of Spanish Conquest as well as check out icons like Cathedral Metropolitan and Zocalo. The afternoon is yours to explore, opt to check out a museum or listen to a mariachi song. Tonight we’ll refuel with a traditional Mexican dinner and show at Plaza Garibaldi!
Day 3 : Travel To Puebla & Oaxaca

Saying adios to the city, today we’ll depart for one of the many 'Magic Towns', Puebla, a beautiful colonial town flanked by volcanoes. Here we’ll learn about the history of the area - such as, this town is where Cinco de Mayo originates from! After lunch we’ll continue our journey to Oaxaca, where we will check in to our accommodation. We’ll then head out and experience the streets by moonlight, hitting up the bars and restaurants!
Day 4 : Explore Oaxaca
Location: Tehuantepec

We'll begin the day by exploring the streets of Oaxaca in daylight. Next we'll be visiting traditional markets, learning about how hand-made textiles are produced from a local family and traveling into the valley to visit a traditional mezcal distillery. We’ll learn all about this energising spirit, then we’ll head to the beautiful town of Tehuantepec, where we will stop overnight.
Day 5 : Mountains & Valleys
Location: San Cristobal de las Casas
Accommodation: Hotel

Jumping on a boat, today we’ll discover some of Mexico’s natural beauty. Cruising through the Canyon of Sumidero we’ll see cascading waterfalls, rich jungle, and cross our fingers in the hopes of spotting some cheeky monkeys and lurking crocodiles. Later we’re heading up into the mountains for our next stop, the delightful colonial town of San Cristobal de las Casas. Enjoy a short walking tour and Pox tasting - a traditional drink from Chiapas region, before going out for an incredible dinner and drinks.
Day 6 : Explore San Cristobal De Last Casas
Location: San Cristobal de las Casas

This morning we’re visiting the Indigenous community of Zinacantan to learn, make and eat a traditional breakfast with a local family. On our way back to town we'll stop in San Juan Chamula to visit a one-of-a-kind church. The afternoon is free for you to visit the local markets, try some of the famous Chiapas coffee, and see the beautiful churches in San Cristobal de la Casas.
Day 7 : Agua Azul Waterfalls
Location: Palenque
Accommodation: Hotel

Leaving the mountains early, we’ll drive through lush valleys before arriving at the famously blue Agua Azul Waterfalls, refreshing ourselves with a swim in the crystal clear turquoise pools. This afternoon we’ll check out the Mayan ruins of Palenque, magnificent pyramids that have been uncovered from the jungle.
Day 8 : Travel To Bacalar
Location: Bacalar
Accommodation: Hotel

We’ll depart for Chicanná this morning, incredible Mayan ruins deep in the jungle. Later we’ll travel to Bacalar, where more thrilling adventures await.
Day 9 : Lagoon Boat Tour
Location: Bacalar
Accommodation: Hotel

Today we’re spending the day exploring Bacalar’s stunning turquoise lagoon via a private boat tour. We’ll be mesmerised by the blue hues and cenotes drenched by sunshine. With nothing on the agenda but swim, relax and enjoy a few drinks, we’ll really feel like we’re in paradise.
Day 10 : Travel To Tulum
Location: Tulum

Our Mexican fiesta continues as we travel to the Yucatan Peninsula. After checking in to our hotel in Tulum, a town known for it’s white sand beaches, we’ll have the rest of the day to chill and explore out the Mayan ruins!
Day 11 : Chichen Itza & Cenotes

Today’s a busy one! First up is Chichen Itza, an amazing UNESCO World Heritage Listed site featuring the massive pyramid known as El Castillo. We’ll have plenty of time to soak up this majestic, ancient site, before spending the afternoon diving into the clear waters of the beautiful Chukum cenote. After a busy day of exploring, we’ll depart for Playa Del Carmen where we’ll check in to our beautiful accom for the last 2 nights of our trip together.
Day 12 : Playa Del Carmen
Location: Playa del Carmen

Today you’ll have plenty of time to lounge on the beach or find a local watering hole to quench your thirst. Tonight we’ll get a little loco for our final dinner and drinks together, getting amongst the nightlife that Playa del Carmen is known for!
Day 13 : Check Out & Onward Travel
Location: Playa del Carmen
Meals Included: Breakfast
Time to say adios as our Mexican adventure comes to an end. You can check out to head back home, stay on in Playa Del Carmen or continue your travels. We’ll be on hand to help with planning any onwards travel.
