Start your Australian adventure in a truly Aussie way! Get ready for an epic three-day, four-lesson surf adventure at the renowned Surf Camp! We'll transform you from a "wipeout wonder" to a "wave wizard" in no time.

Today we head out to surf camp bright and early. Its a few hours south of Sydney so we’ll have breakfast and then get on the road. The next three nights are spent beach side enjoying the amazing New South Wales coastline and learning to surf like a pro.

You decide how much water time you want - we settle into our lodgings and it’s up to you to do all 4 lesson’s, or take some personal time lounging on the beach!

Lesson 1: Paddle Like a Pro
First, master the art of efficient paddling, not like a floundering dog but with streamlined strokes that have you gliding like a dolphin.

Lesson 2: Stand with Grace
Learn the art of graceful stand-up on your board, going from wipeouts to popping up like ejected toast from a toaster.

Lesson 3: Ride with Style
Dropping into waves will feel like riding a wet bull, but we'll teach you to do it with style, riding waves like a pro rodeo cowboy or cowgirl.

Lesson 4: Surf Wisdom & Wave Reading

While we can't decipher Neptune's thoughts, we'll teach you to read waves like a fortune teller reads tea leaves. Plus, you'll master surf etiquette, ensuring you don't steal anyone else's wave karma.

So enjoy the last lesson of the camp, before you make your way back up to Sydney to connect with the U.Guide for your trip up the east coast!

Get ready for an epic Aussie adventure that's as chill as a breezy beach day. We're kicking things off in Sydney and once you’ve connected with our awesome U.Crew, it’ll be time to dive headfirst into some serious exploring.

Our first stop? The mystical Blue Mountains - blue because they rock a mystical blue haze, giving them an almost otherworldly vibe, kinda like an Avatar sequel.

Our day in the Blue Mountains includes hiking at Wentworth Falls and posing with the iconic Three Sisters. It’s not a difficult walk, but we will be out in the sun, so bring a hat and glasses and plant of water!

We’ll be back in Sydney by evening, and that means it's time to check out the legendary Harbour City's nightlife including the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

You're in for a mouthwatering journey today that'll make your taste buds groove with delight! We're off to the Hunter Valley, where city skyscrapers give way to rolling hills, and pavements are swapped for wineries, cheeseries, and breweries.

Sip on aged wine, savour craft beers, nibble artisanal cheeses, and relish gourmet chocolates amidst the Hunter Valley's picturesque backdrop.

We stop at Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary, where it's not just about adorable koalas (although you'll see plenty); it's about providing top-notch care to sick, injured, and orphaned koalas. Think of it as high-end healthcare for marsupials! For a unique koala-eye view, we'll climb the "Skywalk" and peer into their treetop habitat.

Now, back to the foodie adventure (because it's a culinary feast today, and we're the main course). We're firing up the BBQ this evening with sizzling sausages, mouthwatering steaks, and all the delicious fixings, including a mean vegan barbie for those who need it.

G'day to Australia's laid-back east coast, where "sun, sea, sand, and chilling" is the mantra!

Today, we're turning that dream into a sandy reality show in beautiful Port Stephens.

Crystal-clear waters, waves gently caressing your toe', boat trips and dolphins!

We cap off the day with the legendary Mt. Tomaree Walk, where the views from the top will make you wonder why you ever dealt with office cubicles and traffic jams.

We start the day with a colourful sunrise over the epic Worimi sand dunes, the biggest moving dunes in the whole southern hemisphere, and quintessentially Australian.

Soak up the stillness of the vast vistas, or get active and go for a tumble and practice your sand acrobatics!

We refuel with breakfast in the midst of nature at our eco-lodge, taking time to enjoy coffee amongst a mid morning bird symphony.

Post-breakfast, we're heading back to Sydney to catch a flight to the super chilled Brisbane.

Brisbane is like that super chill friend who's always got a smile and a sunny outlook. Did you know it's going to host the summer Olympics soon?

Take a leisurely evening stroll along the Brisbane River and quench your thirst at a local brewery, sampling some top-notch Aussie brews. Because what's an adventure without a toast to the memories made and the ones yet to come?

Bring on Byron Bay – the famous chilled-out surf paradise famous for it’s golden sands, endless coastline, and locals so laid-back they'd nap on a surfboard if they could.

Explore arts and crafts markets, hit the water, savour café delights, hike to the lighthouse at Australia's most eastern tip (don't miss the cool maritime museum and interpretive space), and enjoy these world-famous beaches.

The afternoon's kayaking adventure might introduce you to some oceanic VIPs – dolphins, turtles, and if you're lucky, a cameo by elusive whales in the right season. It's like a star-studded marine meet-and-greet, and you're the guest of honour.

And when the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, you know it's party time in Byron Bay. This vibrant town truly comes alive after dark - beach front bars, great restaurants and super fun beachfront dance clubs. Enjoy!

Today's agenda is all about one thing: relaxation. So, if you were expecting a day of high-energy activities, think again.

In Byron Bay, time seems to slow down and as today is your canvas, you can paint it however you like. Kick back with a cocktail at a beachside bar, people-watch at one of the local cafes, soak up the sun on one of the fantastic beaches, shop for unique finds in the quaint stores, or dive into one of the many optional activities Byron Bay offers; skydiving, hot air ballooning, snorkelling or scuba diving.

Byron Bay is your playground. Whether you want to relax, seek thrills, or do a bit of both, it's entirely up to you. We're here to create unforgettable memories, and Byron Bay provides the perfect backdrop for your ultimate relaxation masterpiece.

Today, we're heading to Noosa, where life's a continuous beach – and a darn good one at that! Noosa is home to some of Australia's top-notch surf champions.

As we venture into Queensland, the Sunshine State, we'll make a pit stop at the Eumundi Markets (available on Wednesdays and Saturdays only, folks) to discover locally crafted arts and crafts.

It's like a treasure hunt for all the quirky, unique, and downright awesome creations made by talented locals. A true slice of local Australian creativity!

Next, it's off to Noosa National Park, where we look for iconic Aussie critters in their natural habitat – the ever-adorable koalas or kangaroos, while the afternoon is yours to enjoy in Noosa .

We strongly suggest a wonder along the waterfront and a seafood feast fit for Poseidon! Or simply lounging on the beach like a true sun worshipper.

Today is all about a once-in-a-lifetime 4WD K'Gari extravaganza! K'Gari is the original native Butchulla name for what we used to call Fraser Island, and it translates to 'paradise' – which is precisely what awaits you.

Start with an exhilarating drive along the world-famous 75 Mile Beach Road - a genuine highway right along the breathtaking beach. On K’Gari, a dip in Lake McKenzie is a must. It's renowned for its soft sands that make you feel like you're walking on clouds and waters so sparkling and clear you’ll want to stay an eternity.

There's a treasure trove of adventures waiting for us on the world's largest sand island, from exploring lush rainforests to discovering hidden freshwater creeks, the Maheno Shipwreck, and Indian Head.

We adventure on to Airlie Beach, the crown jewel of the Whitsundays.

Today's menu in paradise offers a buffet of options - take a leisurely stroll through town, where you'll discover quirky shops and friendly locals.

Airlie Beach offers some of the coolest bars this side of the hemisphere. Sip on cocktails adorned with mini umbrellas or savour local brews that taste like happiness in a glass.

At the epic swimming lagoon, your only worry is whether to swim or sunbathe – a delightful dilemma we could only wish for in our everyday lives. Lounge by the water's edge, feel the sun caress your skin, and let your imagination run as wild as a mermaid (or merman).

Airlie Beach is like a grown-up playground, and today, you're the kid in the candy store.

Breakfast has us feeling as peppy as a kangaroo on caffeine, gearing up for an incredible day cruise into the – including the star of this island show, the legendary Whitehaven Beach.

Describing its stunning white sands, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery feels like trying to explain a rainbow to someone living in a black-and-white world - words just don't do justice to this natural wonder!

But we're not just here for the visual treat; grab your snorkelling gear because it's time to mingle with our underwater locals, in their backyard – complete with colourful coral, playful fish, and turtles.

Once we're back on solid ground, tonight is your chance to explore the myriad of fantastic dining options Airlie Beach has to offer. The Whitsundays are like a dream come true, and today, you're living that dream, one island at a time!

In the year 1770, Captain Cook's compass decided to have a wobbly which led to him stumbling upon an island oozing, literally, with magnetic charm – koalas lounging in treetops, wallabies abound, lush forests, and breathtaking ocean views.

Today, we take a ferry to this island paradise - Magnetic Island. And we don’t use the word ‘paradise’ lightly either.

Considered one of the most beautiful breathtaking and memorable spots in the whole of Australia, we are super excited to deviate from the beaten path and explore this paradise with you!

If there ever was a day to have your camera handy, this is the one. You'll be treating your lenses to Mother Nature's greatest hits.

Today is another chance to create unique memories on this tropical paradise.

Dive into the crystal-clear waters, and swim amongst incredible tropical coral reefs and bright inquisitive, or let the lush forests of Magnetic Island tempt you with a rewarding hike.

We even have jeep hire – you'll hold the keys to a rugged and reliable jeep just begging for an off-road adventure. It's like channeling your inner Indiana Jones (or Lara Croft).

This island is your playground, whether you opt for diving, swimming, relaxing, hiking, or snorkelling. Be sure to snap plenty of pictures; Magnetic Island has a way of making you feel like a kid again!

We balance the last few island days with a trip inland to the Atherton Tablelands.
Our first stop? A magnificent plunge waterfall surrounded by lush tropical rainforests, vibrant foliage, and the symphony of chirping birds.

Given that we’re heating up the further north we venture, this hidden gem practically begs you to take a dip in its cool, refreshing waters.

We'll also visit the crystal-clear crater lake of Lake Eacham, marvel at the colossal "Curtain Fig Tree," spot wild platypuses around Peterson Creek, and savour a delightful foodie surprise amidst Yungaburra's heritage-listed timber cottages.

Finally, we'll conclude our day in tropical and vibrant Cairns. It’s time to enjoy the vibe of this fun city with waterfront bars and great dance clubs!

In true U. style, we head out for another epic day exploring and adventuring. From the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, to Mossman Gorge, nature's own spa, with rejuvenating waterfalls and lush greenery and then onwards to today’s pièce de résistance - an epic snorkelling adventure on the renowned Great Barrier Reef.

For some of us, it's departure day, and we're bidding adieu with hopes that your sunscreen stays strong, your sense of humour stays top-notch, and your wanderlust keeps on burning bright!

But for the rest of us cool cats, today marks the beginning of our fantastic U. Impact! Experiences on the Great Barrier Reef Conservation project.

Around mid-morning you’ll head off to Cape York to connect with our local marine conservation crew. Today you get to make a direct positive impact on our environment.

When we talk beach clean-ups, we're talking next-level up-cycling and recycling. It's not all serious stuff (well, maybe just a bit); you'll also get the lowdown on the ugly truth about marine debris in our oceans. Spoiler alert: it's not a pretty sight. Discover the sources of this rubbish and the steps we can take to wage war on plastic.

And now it’s time to step up and contribute you time and energy and join our squad of beachcombers on a mission to rid the shores of unwanted trash.

As the day winds down, it's time to kick back, relax, and maybe lounge by the hotel pool. You've earned it – our first day has been a mix of learning and fun. Here's to that!

Get ready for some turtle-tastic action on the last day of our Australian adventure!

We spend the day at the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre on Fitzroy Island. We meet the true super heroes – the passionate volunteers whose generosity and commitment to protecting these mammals is nothing short of humbling.

We learn what a day looks like in their shoes, and if the opportunity arises, we’ll go behind the scenes, lending a hand with tasks like feeding turtles or cleaning tanks. You may even pick up a bit of turtle-ese, the official language of turtle talk!

It is our greatest wish that you use this experience to share the great deeds being done by this amazing group, and why its so important we cease our plastic consumption immediately. Make ripples of awareness amongst your own communities and be part of the solution with your knew knowledge.

As we head back to Cairns, we deviate to celebrate a blooming awesome trip with a Cairns distillery and brewery tour. It's the grand finale of our epic Australian journey, and we're going out with a bang (or should I say, a toast)!
