Day 1 : Arrival At Entebbe And Transfer To Hotel

Location: Entebbe

Upon your arrival in Entebbe, you will be picked up by a company representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, you may have a stopover at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center for an introduction to the flora and fauna of Uganda.

Day 2 : Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park

Location: Lake Mburo National Park

Accommodation: Lodge

After breakfast, head southwest to Lake Mburo National Park. On our way, we will pass the Uganda Equator, where we will watch the demonstration of the water flowing into the northern and southern hemispheres. As you proceed to your accommodation, it is likely that you will encounter the first wildlife. After checking in you will join a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the rich birdlife. Or you may decide to go for a game drive in search of zebras, buffaloes, and different types of antelopes. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

Day 3 : Nature Walk And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth Park

Location: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early start of the day as we will go for a nature walk guided by a ranger. Lake Mburo is the only national park where you can experience a safari on foot. Return for breakfast and then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. You may have an evening game drive in the park before your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 : Chimpanzee Tracking And Boat Safari On Kazinga Channel

Location: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Accommodation: Lodge

Accommodation Name: The Bush Lodge (Banda)

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After your morning breakfast, your driver will take you to the park information centre where you will be briefed together with other guests about what to do and not to do while trekking chimpanzees. Thereafter you will set out to look for the chimpanzees in the forest and experience unforgettable. Trekking might take 2 to 6 hours of which it is based on the location of chimpanzees.

Day 5 : Transfer To Volcanoes National Park

Location: Volcanoes national park

After breakfast Today we will depart the beautiful area of Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive to the border area with Rwanda. Note that the border crossing might take some time and a visa may be required based on your nationality. From here we continue to the most beautiful national park of Rwanda: Parc National des Volcans for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 : Gorilla Trekking

Location: Volcanoes national park

Arise early today and prepare for the highlight of your safari, an unforgettable encounter with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Following breakfast, transfer to the national park offices where you will be allocated a gorilla family in groups of 8 as well as a gorilla tracking guide.

After a pre-tracking briefing by your guide about your assigned gorilla family and appropriate safety precautions, drive to the trailhead for the start of a thrilling adventure –expect to walk long distances in steep or muddy conditions with rain overhead. You will have packed lunch from the lodge for this hike.

Upon sighting the gorillas, spend one hour with them as they go about their daily life; grooming, feeding, moving, playing. The trek time can be quite unpredictable between 2 to 8 hrs or longer. Descend back to the trailhead heading back to the lodge.

Day 7 : Volcanoes -Kigali City

Location: Kigali

After breakfast, head to Kigali town arriving in time for relaxation and lunch. After lunch, have the option of having a city tour in Kigali – visit the Kigali Memorial Centre. This is a grim reminder of the 1994 senseless massacres. The museum is built on a site where over 250,000 people are buried. The exhibits in the museum powerfully tell the story of Rwanda, its history, and the unfolding genocide. Included are touch screens that have on them the testimonials of some of the survivors present during this turbulent time. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 8 : Transfer T Kigali Airport

Location: Kigali International Airport

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Land of the Thousand Hills. You may visit some craft centers before heading to the airport for your flight back home.

From the first contact, the company tryed to fullfill our wishes 100%. Roger, the driver was allways carefull and explained us lots of things about politics, economics and social life in this beautifull country. Over all, he knows everything about flora aud fauna. He spotted all the animals , so we could really see the "big five" during our journey. Jessie, the cute tour operator from verdoro safaris accompanied us for the most of the trip and organised all our wishes immediately and perfect. Thanks to the two of them we spend interesting, marvellous days in Uganda. We can really recommend the tour organiser verdoro safaris.

During the planning stages Verdoro Safaris was very helpful with setting up the routes and activities during the safari. The guide we had was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife as well as general questions we had. When the weather was less than great there were alternatives provided from which we could choose. The accommodations they had us in were great and very close to the parks and activities. The vehicle was well maintained and comfortable. We were able to see almost everything that we wanted to see and the only misses were due to weather or just nature not cooperating. Would highly recommend.
