Adventure hiking trip

Just come back from the weekend adventure hiking trip in paradise national park. Was amazing and beautiful especially in Autumn. Hiking with a twist. I can’t thank Martin enough, everything you expect from a guide and much more. Extensive knowledge and a great person. I very rarely go back to the same place twice however will definitely book a different trip back in Slovakia in the near future. Solo travelled. Made some fantastic memories with people I would now consider good friends. 10/10. Thank you so much.

Incredible time in Slovakia

I recently got back from a 6 day trip with Slovakation and had an incredible time! We were in a group of 6 and explored the main national parks. The itinerary was perfectly planned, with a great mixture of hiking and personal time to relax afterwards. The accommodation was fantastic and the food was delicious. Huge thanks to Patrik for being a fantastic guide, especially as he went out his way to go back up one of the peaks, after the clouds cleared at Mala Fatra. We had freedom as a group to go on ahead if you wanted some alone time when hiking, but always felt safe knowing Patrik (our guide) was nearby. Communication was clear and responses were quick in case of any questions I'm hoping to go back again on another tour in the near future Thanks Patrik and Martin for an amazing holiday! :D

Fantastic time in Mala Fatra

I had a fantastic time on the Mala Fatra winter hiking trip. Amazing country and friendly, helpful people... especially Martin - an expert local guide and always willing to help and answer our endless questions :-) The cable car up the mountain was a great start and then the scenery and adventures from there were just brilliant. The people in our group were like-minded, easy to get on with and enjoy the experience together. The accommodation also exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

What documents will I receive before I travel?

You will receive an email with all the important information. Later before the tour we also create a Whatsapp group for everyone to make the organizing easier and seemless.

Do you operate a “single share” option and how does it work?

It is possible if the accommodation still has extra free rooms. If you are interested in this option, please contact us and enquire about the possibility.

Will the accommodation included meet local health and safety regulations?

Sure, we always choose accommodations, which are in compliance with Slovak regulations. Furthermore we also try to choose small local business with great reviews.

What policies are in place for Covid-19?

Currently there are no regulations in place in Slovakia and it is a safe country to travel.

Free Date Changes

Slovakation allows you to make 1 free date changes, as long as the change is made at least 60 days before the start of the tour.
Transfer as credit to Future Tours

Slovakation allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform Slovakation, 0 days before departure.
Low Deposit

Slovakation requires a minimum deposit of 10% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 30 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your tour, tourhub doesn't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of Slovakation charges.

At 60 days before tour starts:	Forfeit 30% of tour cost
At 50 days before tour starts:	Forfeit 50% of tour cost
At 40 days before tour starts:	Forfeit 80% of tour cost
At 30 days before tour starts:	Forfeit 100% of tour cost
