Social Cycles host small group cycle adventures for travellers with a social conscience. We engage with local experts (NGOs) to learn about social issues, challenges and strategies so that we can gain the knowledge to make a positive difference. We will test your physical boundaries, challenge your perception of charity and completely open your mind. We host adventures in Laos, Samoa, Iran, Cambodia, Mongolia, Vietnam and Colombia, with more destinations to be added in the coming months. All of our cycling adventures are fully supported with a van and a local crew of passionate, proud and patriotic travel professionals. We're a small company with no head office, no rent, no administrative teams and no overheads. The company was started by Brett Seychell in 2015 and he is the sole full-time employee. In addition to this, the vast majority of bookings come from referrals from previous clients, or repeat bookings, avoiding the need to factor in chunky travel agent commissions and huge advertising budgets to the price. This is where we cut costs, it is not in the quality of the hotels, bikes, local guide staff wages and operational expenses. It makes us less expensive, but it doesn't make us cheap.
