We had an amazing 3-Day adventure with our fabulous guide Angga. Beside the amazing views at Bromo and Ijen we as well enjoyed the evenings with our group at the hotels and had amazing evenings. The hotels were very good and the car really comfortable. Thanks again!!

I went on the Candi Borobudur and Candi Prambaman tour yesterday with YKExplore it was awesome. There were three of us in the car, plus our driver Bhimo, an excellent driver and guide and took great care of us. He also helped me with my Bahasa. We were able to clime to the penultimate level of Borobudur, and with the small group we were assigned to had about 15 minutes at the top of the structure to ourselves before the next group was scheduled. Two World Heritage Sites in one day was an experience I won’t forget. Thanks YKE

Whenever you need a tour around Yogyakarta, Bromo, or even Ijen and Bali stretching to even other locations, Tolib the driver guide is your best companion. I travel solo, nothing I don’t trust Tolib to help and take care of. Tolib brought me to the temples like Borobudur, Prambanan, everything just worked very well, and plus he might bring you to try some good snacks if that is what you wish for when coming to Indonesia. I booked 2 tours with them. Prambanan/Borobudur and Bromo/Tumpak Sewu. I wanted to do Ijen but unfortunately due to high activity in the volcano it was closed. Since the begining Lintang contacted me and was super helpful two months in advance to my trip. She offered many options and there where no imposibles for her, no matter if I changed the date or the tour she always helped. Anggan my tour guide became my friend and trusted advisor, we exchanged cultures and explore some places together. He was very pacient and flexible. Always with a smile. I 100% recommend their tours. Also the places you visit are breathtaking and completely worth it

The trip was amazing. My driver, Yusuf, was very polite and took me to Borobudur and the two smaller temples that are very close to Borobudur(Pawon and Mendut). No extra fee required. For lunch, he took me to a local restaurant that he recommended. It was delicious. With a decent fee and amazing service, I strongly recommend this tour.

A super interesting day! Bagus was a very knowledgeable driver who told us many things about the temples and Indonesia. He was able to answer all questions and was super fun to be around. He dropped us off at the temples and was always reachable via WhatsApp to pick us up at the exits! The temples itself are beautiful and fascinating. At Borobudur you get a guide who is incredibly knowledgeable and talkative. Be aware that there are quite some steep steps to climb in the scorching heat. At Prambanan temple complex there are less steps but it's equally as stunning! Definitely visit the smaller temples in the complex as well!

Thoroughly enjoyed a well planned trip to see Borobudur and Prambanam Temples. Our driver Yovi was excellent and is a font of Indonesian and local knowledge. The expert guides at Borobudur elevate the experience. It is possible to request a guide at the Prambanam site but we decided not to and took our time exploring all the temples on the complex. Both of these sites are really special and we've left with a deeper understanding of Buddhism and Hinduism and their architectures.

Firdaus also knew many interesting facts about Yogyakarta. He stopped everytime we wanted to grab a coffee or to eat something. We booked 2 different tours with YKExplore and both were great. When staying in Yogyakarta we booked the Borobudur and Prambanan temples tour and we were picked up on time and the driver was very good. We then also booked the Mt Bromo tour from Malang. It was a join in tour but there were only 4 of us on it so it was really good and basically private. Our driver Yayak was really great and super helpful. Highly recommend both tours with this company!

Traveling with Firdaus was a real threat for me and my kids! He went out of his way to crate a tailor-made tour for us, but he was also extremely flexible. I just mentioned that I would like to try loewak coffee and he immediately found a place near by our route where we could see the animals, understand the process and have a cup of coffee. He is patient, kind and accommodating. He was more concerned about what we can see, than about his own time. I highly recommend going a tour with Firdaus when you are in Yogyakarta. Just tell him what you want to see and he will make sure that you have a great day!

Excellent guide and experience. I visited Yogya as part of preparations for an int’l conference I’m potentially coordinating there in a few months. I hired Firdaus to show me the cultural highlights, as well as help me understand the region, infrastructure and history. My day with him was among the highlights of my month in Indonesia. He exceeded my expectations and nothing was out of reach. He answered all my questions, helped with many tasks, and left me with a great impression of Yogya!

If you want a fun, educational day full of facts about Jogjakarta, you should go to driver Sutarman. Sutarman arrived well on time, even before the agreed time. He showed us from minute 1 what a cool guy he is. He knew how to teach us a lot and showed us many beautiful places (also some cool extras on top of the visit to the temples such as; a coffee shop of Kopi Luwak, a visit to a silver shop, showing us different plantations and a lunch in a picturesque place). He always gave us the choice whether we wanted to see something/stop somewhere, or rather not. We booked the tour on a Monday. On this day you can't go into the temples, but you can visit the temples. However, we didn't mind this at all and we didn't have the feeling that we were missing anything. On top of that, it was very quiet everywhere on Monday :). We definitely recommend the tour on Monday, just like driver Sutarman.

We did the tour to Borobudur & Prambanan temples in Yogyakarta & our guide Didot was the absolute best, so friendly and helpful. Very funny and was so full of knowledge on all the carvings and their intricate stories. We took the Borobudur and Prambanan Temple Share Tour with Climb-up and couldn't have been more pleased. Our driver, Bemi, was absolutely wonderful, professional, kind, and an excellent driver. He explained everything very well, asked what we wanted to do for lunch, was prompt in adhering to the schedule, and was a true delight to speak with about all things Indonesia. The vehicle was extremely clean and the AC worked well. We would highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderfull tour, thanks to our excellent tour guide and driver, Hendra. He arranged everything in the hotels, on the road and with the local guides, gave us the freedom to take a break whenever we wanted, and gave us a taste of how the locals spend their days. He knew how to avoid the huge crowds of tourists, which was a big plus for us! Also the local guides for Tumpak Sewu and Ijen were very good! They gave us all the info we needed, but also gave us the freedom to explore the area by ourselves. We would highly recommend this tour!

YKExplore allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform YKExplore, 60 days before departure.
Low Deposit

YKExplore requires a minimum deposit of 35% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 7 days before departure.
