Iceland
August is one of the year's warmest months in Iceland, making it an excellent time to explore the country’s beautiful outdoors. From white water rafting past the spectacular Gullfoss Waterfall and the Brúarhlöð Canyon to camping under the stars (and the Northern Lights, if you’re lucky!) in Iceland’s pristine wilderness. Witness the majestic mountainscapes, black sand beaches, glaciers and waterfalls as you embark on one of the world’s best road trips, the Ring Road. If you’re a wildlife lover, how about a puffin-watching tour, or perhaps a visit to Reykjavík for a spot of whale watching?
