Hiking: Typically, 3-6 hours per day on well-formed backcountry trails. Expect some significant gradient inclines and declines. Altitude: Your trip may include some moderate altitude areas, though these don't form the focus of the trip and are generally manageable. Biking: 1-3 hours on well-formed paths or roads where you can expect some hills with moderate climbs and descents. Kayaking: 1-3 hours, entry-level sea kayaking with specialist guides and stable boats. Other activities (i.e. caving): Always optional and very little exertion required. A highlight for many!

Great Family Experience

09-Jun-2023

Austin Adventures had every detail thought out and taken care of. We are not a big hiking family and I was a little nervous for this trip. However, I knew this is how I wanted to experience Yellowstone. Bryson and Zach were rock stars and handled everything with utmost professionalism. The kids had a blast meeting two other families - they even started a group chat! Every detail was taken care of along the way and we were treated like royalty. I mean, who has taco Tuesday in the middle of a national park with every topping you could imagine?! Austin Adventures (Zach the chef) sure does!

Guides were terrific and activities were as well.

Wonderful Experience

10-Aug-2022

We had a wonderful experience. We were the only family on this trip, which was a little disappointing. We had hoped our daughter would have other kids to hang out with during the week. Otherwise, each activity met or exceeded our expectations.
