This safari package enables you to visit the very attractive wildlife safari sites in Africa, of Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Crater. Serengeti National Park is the oldest and most famous national park in Africa, and possibly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. On the other side Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site with other things is the only place in the earth where mankind and wild animals co-exist in harmony. However, the tour will visit the famous tribes reserved their cultures of Maasai, also give you opportunity to witness the ’Great Wildebeest Migration’ moving yearly from Kenya’s Masai Mara to the Serengeti plains, and the interaction between species is real awesomely entertaining.

Day 1 : Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Location: Tarangire National Park

The first day of your safari will begin by 8.30AM in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Once everyone is aboard, you will head towards Tarangire National Park. The 150 Km drive will be covered in about 3hrs. As you begin your game drive, you will be welcomed by the ancient and gigantic Baobab trees, which make even animals like the giraffe look tiny. The game drive goes on till about late afternoon and includes a small
stop for a picnic lunch.

The 3,000 Sq Kms park gets its name from the Tarangire river that flows through it. The river attracts a lot of diverse animals, and you should be able to spot a lot of elephants, giraffe, lions, antelopes and zebra. The Tarangire National Park has the highest concentration of elephants, which offers a unique chance for you to observe interactions between elephant families.

Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you. Have good night’s sleep for tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 2 : Tarangire To Serengeti Via Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will head out via Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never-ending plain grasslands. The Serengeti means endless plains in the local African language and watching the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see and eventually merging with the sky at the horizon is an absolutely breathtaking view.

Today before getting into Serengeti, you will spend time driving in Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) of large expanses of savannah, rain forest and bush land. The area provides wildlife protection status as well permits human habitation at a time. The uniqueness makes NCA the only area where Man, livestock and wild animals all live together in peace.

The Serengeti also houses the glorious “Big 5”. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa.
The central portion of the Serengeti – known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area. In Seronera, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long game drive itself. The day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your
accommodation.

Day 3 : Northern Serengeti

Starting your Adventure by 8AM after a filling breakfast, you will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today and move towards the northern part of the park. The enroute game drive towards the Kogatende region will offer mild action from resident game. As you approach the northern part of the Serengeti, you will notice the terrain change from the usual plain grassland to a more hilly and broken terrain. The northern region offers a variety of resident game such zebras, topi, gazelle, buffaloes, leopards and lions. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long drive itself. Based on the time of your arrival you will able to spend a few hours by the Mara river. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Day 4 : Northern Serengeti

You will finish a good breakfast and begin your day by 8AM. In the months between mid-June to September the migration can be found in this region. From mid-June to September, the Mara River in this region offers the most dramatic river crossing of the great migration. Fierce, deep and heavily rain fed the river takes an enormous toll on the migrating wildebeest.

Watching the wildebeest surging through the torrential flow, some drowning and a few falling preys to lurking crocodiles is an unforgettable sight. If it’s your lucky day you will be able to witness this natural wonder and watch nature take its course. Tracing the great migration, you might even move towards the Lobo valley. During the dry season the permanent water sources in the valley attract plenty of resident and migratory animals. During the full day game drive, you will have a stop where you can have your picnic lunch. The day comes to an end with a tasty dinner and a good rest in your choice of accommodation.

Day 5 : Northern Serengeti

Day 6 : Central Serengeti

Starting your day at the routine time of 8AM after a heavy breakfast, today you will head south towards the central Serengeti. The 4Hr drive to the centre will offer mild enroute game. The drive south from the Mara River valley takes you through hill country, the Lobo area, woodlands and then back into the Seronera terrain. The central portion of the Serengeti – known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.

As you make your way into the Seronera region, you will begin to notice the hilly and broken terrain altering into plain grasslands. Here, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion prides provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation. The next day you will head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 7 : Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty.

Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Day 8 : Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha

On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descend at around 6:30AM into the crater floor.

The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive in the crater floor, will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended.
The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater.

This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in Arusha by 6PM in the evening. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.

    Tanzania & Zanzibar International Borders Open with Restrictions:
    In addition to all current entry requirements, on arrival into Tanzania & Zanzibar the latest information that has been furnished to us by the Tanzanian government officials is as follows:
    o All guests are required to truthfully fill in an online Travelers’ Health Surveillance Form available at https://afyamsafiri.moh.go.tz/ (Mainland) and https://healthtravelznz.mohz.go.tz/traveller/#/home (Zanzibar)
    o Fully vaccinated guests will be exempted from both RT PCR and Rapid Antigen Test requirements. Guests will be required to present a valid vaccination certificate with QR code for verification upon arrival. The only accepted vaccines are those which have been approved by the United Republic of Tanzania and the World Health Organization
    o Fully Vaccinated means one dose of a single-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine. Please check whether your vaccine is a single-dose or multi-dose vaccine.
    o Guests not fully vaccinated, unvaccinated and those not eligible for vaccination due to their country policy will be required to present a negative COVID-19 RT- PCR or NAATs certificate with QR code obtained within 72 hours before departure. Guests may be tested on arrival per www.moh.go.tz using a Rapid Antigen Test at their own cost of 10 USD (TZS 23,000) for Tanzania Mainland. If found positive they will be tested with RT- PCR for confirmation, allowed to self-isolate and the results will be sent via email or any other means.
    o Guests to Tanzania who are eligible for Rapid Antigen Test per the above are advised to pay online to avoid unnecessary queues upon arrival, through an automatically generated control number obtained after filling the online Travelers’ Health Surveillance Form
    o Guests in transit by air transport are exempted from both vaccination and COVID 19 testing requirements unless stated otherwise by the conveyance to be used or countries of their final destinations.
    o All departing guests are advised to seek information prior to departure from travel agent regarding COVID-19 requirements of their country of destination or conveyance to be used

    o Your travel details, including times and dates
    o You will receive a confirmation notification – the notification will contain your Unique Health Code (UHC) which you will present upon arriving in Tanzania at the health desk
