Day 1 : Nagpur

Arrive NagpurLater city tour visit Sitabuldi Fort a significant historical importance. The fort is situated atop a hill and is the site of the Battle of Sitabuldi, 1817. The highlight of the fort has a cell where Mahatma Gandhi was imprisoned. Besides, it has a war memorial dedicated to soldiers who lost their lives in the battle. The fort is now home to the Indian Army's 118th infantry battalion. Dhamma Chakra Stupa a very important place for Buddhists built out of Dhaulpur sandstone, marble and granite and is 120 feet in height. Followers of Ambedkar and Buddhism gather here on Ashoka Vijaya Dashmi, marked to celebrate the amalgamation of many Dalits to Buddhism by Doctor Ambedkar, to offer their tributes. The place is of great religious importance to them. Central Museum (Mondays closed), this eclectic museum is a treasure-trove of specimens related to archaeology, art, anthropology, natural history and geology. The collection housed here has been sourced from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and some parts of western Maharashtra. This comprises sculptures with a representative collection of fossils, minerals, pre and proto-historic metal tools, pottery, beads, coins, inscriptions, ethno-anthropological articles, architectural pieces, manuscripts, paintings, etc. The museum is spread across 11 galleries with a thematic scheme for each. Day 2 : Pench National Park

Nagpur - Ramtek - Pench National Park (100kms/ 2hrs approx)Breakfast at hotel, drive to Pench National Park enroute visit Ramtek Fort and Temples. The city of Ramtek has got historic temple of Lord Rama and holds a lot of mythological significance. It is believed that Ramtek was the place where Lord Rama, the Hindu god, rested while he was in exile. According to Hindu history the ashram of the Hindu sage Agastya was situated close to Ramtek. While the sages performed religious rites, the demons used to disrupt their activities and slayed holy men. Rama was distressed to hear about this, and took a vow to relieve the world from the demons. The present temple is believed to have been built by Raghuji Bhonsale, the Maratha ruler of Nagpur in 18th century after his victory over fort of Deogarh in Chindwara. The temple has an elevation of 345 meters from land and is believed to be 600 years old. It is most famed for the 350 feet long and unique OM structure that is adorned with description. This place is also related to the Sanskrit poet Kalidasa. After sightseeing drive to Pench National Park check in at resort and lunch. After lunch jeep safari in the tiger reserve.Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Pench National Park

The Bengal tiger is the main cat species of the park, 39 species of mammals, 13 species of reptiles, 3 species of amphibians. Commonly seen wildlife is chital, sambar, nilgai, wild boar, and jackal. Also Indian leopard, sloth bear, indian wolf, wild dog, porcupine, monkey, jungle cat, fox, striped hyena, gaur, four-horned antelope and barking deer live in the park. The park is rich in bird life too. According to an estimate of the wildlife authorities, the park harbours more than 210 species including several migratory ones. Some of them are peafowl, junglefowl, crow pheasant, crimson-breasted barbet, red-vented bulbul, racket-tailed drongo, Indian roller, magpie robin, lesser whistling teal, pintail, shoveller, egret and herons, minivet, oriole, wagtail, munia, myna, waterfowl and common kingfisher. Kapileshwar Temple - a holy shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva considered as the southern Kashi. The temple is located beside the Shahpur Flyover which connects the central city of Belgaum to Shahpur. It is believed that the visit and darshan of the 12 Jyotirlinga scattered all over India will remain incomplete unless started from Kapileshwar Temple. There is a rare cluster of Banyan, Peepal and Ficus trees in the Compound of the Temple. The temple is open for devotees from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day. St. Mary’s Church one of the peaceful places to visit in Belgaum The church was built during the time of Britishers thus gives a reminiscence of the past of this city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Pench National Park

Pench National Park - Satpura National Park (200kms/ 4hrs approx)Breakfast at hotel, drive to Satpura National Park, check in at resort.
After lunch visit Panch Pandav Caves according to a legend, these caves were built by five Pandava brothers of Mahabharatha era during their fourteen years of exile. The caves are situated on a hilltop and provide an excellent vantage point. Captain James Forsyth of the British Army along with Subhedar Major Nathoo Ramji Powar who was later made the Kotwal (Incharge of the armoury (Koth) of Pachmarhi, spotted the plateau in the Pachmarhi region in 1857, while leading his troops on the way to Jhansi. It quickly developed into hill station and sanatorium for British troops in the Central Provinces of India.
Sunset visit Dhoopgarh the highest peak in the Satpura Range. It has an altitude of 1350 m. It is not only the highest point of Pachmarhi but also the highest point of central India. It is an amazing experience to see the sunset at Pachmarhi.Overnight at resort.

Satpura National Park (Pachmarhi)Breakfast at resort. Joyride of three safari including jeep safari and boat safari which will take you on a trip amidst the poised habitat of flora and fauna. The dense forest of Satpura is enriched with thrilling hilly terrains, exquisite runnels, compelling waterfalls and alluring valleys rich in biodiversity. The animals here include Tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, Indian muntjac, nilgai, four-horned antelope, chinkara, wild boar, bear, black buck, fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, mouse deer, and Indian giant squirrel. There are a variety of birds. Hornbills and peafowl are common birds found here. The Bhimbetka rock shelters are an archaeological site dating back to the Paleolithic age. They exhibit the earliest traces of human life on the Indian subcontinent, and show a gimps into the beginning of the South Asian during the Stone Age. Some of the shelters were inhabited by the homo erectus more than 100,000 years ago. Some of the stone age rock paintings found among the Bhimbetka rock shelters are roughly 30,000 years old. Sanchi is a serene hill crowned by a group of stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from 3rd century BC to 12th century AD. Sanchi is an ancient place of pilgrimage for Buddhists and its uniqueness lies in the fact that Buddha is not represented through figures, but through symbols. Udayagiri Caves are early Hindu ritual site, they were extensively carved and reworked under the command of Chandragupta II, Emperor of the Gupta Empire, in the late 4th and 5th century AD.Udayagiri has a series of rock-shelters and petroglyphs, ruined buildings, inscriptions, water systems, fortifications and habitation mounds, all of which have been only partially excavated.Return to Bhopal and city tour. Bhopal - Departure Breakfast at hotel, visit the Bhoj Wetland consists of two lakes located in the city of Bhopal. The two lakes are the Bhojtal and the Lower Lake manmade reservoir. A total of more than 20,000 birds are observed annually. Bhoj Wetland was recognized as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention of 1971 in 2002. The Upper Lake acts as the lifeline of the city supplying 40% of its potable water. White storks, black-necked storks, bar-headed geese, spoonbills, etc., that have been rare sightings in the past, have started appearing. A recent phenomenon is the gathering of 100-120 sarus cranes in the lake. The largest bird of India, the sarus crane (Grus antigone) is known for its size, majestic flight and lifetime pairing.
