Unbelievable Experience

05-Sep-2020

Wow, what an amazing experience and what a great company to deal with. From the get-go, Luis, our "Journey Designer" handled everything, organizing an absolutely fantastic safari that satisfied our requirements completely. Every airport and hotel transfer went without a problem, the drivers were always there waiting for us on arrival or always either on time or early for departures. Definitely upgrade to the Landcruiser option, it is well worth it. Our vehicle in Kenya was essentially brand new while the Tanzania vehicle was kept spotless daily by our guide Nico. Our guides in Kenya, Gideon, and Felix were fantastic and Nico in Tanzania was exceptional. They were incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating, obviously with years of experience, nothing was ever too much trouble for them as they went out of their way to ensure that we got up as close and personal as was practical to the wildlife. We were lucky to see the Big 5 on two occasions and witnessed Wildebeest crossing a crocodile-infested river from a perfect viewpoint (thanks Gideon). There are far too many incredible experiences involving lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, leopards, hippos, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, pumbaas etc etc to describe here, I urge you to go and see for yourselves, it's fantastic. Nico also took us to one of the Maasai villages he visits, an unbelievable experience and highly recommended. Hot lunches on safari were great and accompanied with either wine or beer. Our accommodation was generally glam camping or lodges which were absolutely great, Vincent at Serengeti Tortilis Camp is a mega-star. The food and friendliness of the staff were outstanding. The one exception was Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge and when our concerns were expressed, Luis went out of his way to ensure a satisfactory resolution was reached. This enhanced further in my eyes the professionalism of Alaitol Safari & their willingness to ensure that their customers are indeed satisfied. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alaitol Safari, they are far and away from the best tour organizer I have ever dealt with, and will be sure to use them on my next safari. They thoroughly deserve their 5-star rating

The best safari experience ever

25-Aug-2020

We would like to say a Big Big Thank you to the Alaitol Safari team. We just completed a 7 day safari through Serengeti (Central & North) and Ngorongoro Crater. Right from the start of our journey planning, Jose C from the team was the most helpful in planning our journey to perfection. With so much detail and customisation of a private Safari, we could plan it perfectly and he was the most patient through numerous changes, selecting routes and accommodation options and iterations till the start of our trip. The welcome and the pickup car was also nice and efficient. A real star of the trip for us was our Driver/Guide - Erasto. He was truly the best, very sweet, entertaining and knowledgeable. He always went the extra mile to ensure that we had the best Safari experience. He was very informative, followed all safety precautions and yet with his 9 years of experience was excellent at tracking game. We enjoyed our conversations with him immensely and he kept us entertained through long drives and ensured we moved ‘Pole Pole but forward’ We did the entire north safari circuit from Arusha to Serengeti Central and North and Ngorongoro Crater. Erasto made sure we got the best from every game drive, jockeying for the best spots, using the radio, his experience of where the predators are and was super flexible with timings and what to do. We managed to spot game in several areas where we were the only vehicle. Be it a great Cheetah, 6 Leopard sightings, Tree Climbing lions, A rhino in Ngorongoro, The Great Migration in the North (quite rare too) it was all thanks to Erasto. The hot lunches are a nice touch, especially when most companies offer Lunch Boxes. We’d wholeheartedly recommend Alaitol Safari to all our friends and family. Asante Sana Alaitol Safari!

Fantastic experience

04-Oct-2019

This tour operator was recommended by a friend and it lived up to the expectations. The guide (Baraza) was very nice, interested, spoke fluent english and went out of his way to show us different animals or stopped the car to explain the where we were, to give some information about the animals we were seeing, and tried his best to give us what the parks can offer. The safari went smoothly, without any problem, and we felt that the communication by email in the months leading to the safari was well organized, everything was taken care of (the pickup times from the airport, every accomodation knew we were coming....). We would easily recommend this tour operator(Alaitol Safari) and our guide.

Dont hesitate - book Safari with them!

ly the communication before the safari was excellent. Abel from the Alaitol Safari Office was great. He helped us to arrange everything. We visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Everything from the airport pick up was great. Our guide Karato was perfect. Safari with him it was an adventure. We felt safe, he took care of us in every detail. He helped us to see great migration and the big 5. Lunches were tasty, with tableware, wine. The car was in good condition. The lodges, where we slept, were comfortable. So if you plan to do a Safari do it with Alaitol Safari. They will arrange everything with you just like you wish. Big thanks guys, for the wonderful memories we have!

The best experience ever!!

18-Oct-2019

I traveled to Tanzania to make my first safari, with so much offer I was a little confused which operator to choose, however I chose the Alaitol Safari due to all the advantages presented by Abel, such as meeting the needs in choosing the itinerary, accommodation, hot meals, and vehicle conditions. After the safari, I can conclude that it was the right option. Our guide, Baraza, has always been very empathetic and helpful in all our doubts. I strongly advise including Serengeti in the script, we did not and later we regret it. No doubt I will repeat the experience with this operator.
