Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival Kruger National Park
Location: Kruger Park
After landing at Phalaborwa or Hoedspruit Airport (specify the name of the airport of arrival, in order to arrange the pick-up), you will be met by a tour representative who will guide you to the transfer to your private game lodge adjacent to the famous Kruger National Park. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure. If you can’t wait to go into the bush, you can go for your first game drive in the afternoon. Or, if you feel like relaxing after the flight, you can simply lie by the pool and let the hours go by without a worry in the world. That way you will store up energy for the following day’s game drive.
Overnight in Kruger National Park.
Day 2 : Kruger National Park
Location: Kruger Park
A spellbinding experience awaits you this morning. Head out to explore Kruger National Park, often thought of as the world’s largest wildlife zoo. Wake up early in the morning and jump into a safari jeep with a specialised wildlife ranger-guide and drive over to Kruger Park for your very first safari experience. Enjoy a thrilling game drive and, like completing a wildlife bingo, try to spot all of Africa's highly sought-after Big Five: elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. You will make two stops during the day, one for breakfast and another for lunch, at different rest camps throughout the safari. That way you will be able to take advantage of your time in the game reserve to the fullest and make sure you don’t miss any animal you were longing to see in its natural habitat. You will be driven back to the lodge in the late afternoon, at around 16:00. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure.
Overnight in Kruger National Park.

There are exciting activities suited to absolutely everyone’s needs, including but not limited to open-vehicle safaris, bush braai evenings in Kruger Park, guided walks in the bush, mountain bike trails, trips to animal rehabilitation centres and much more.

Day 4 : Depart Kruger National Park – Cape Town (3.5 H By Flight, Not Included)
Location: Cape Town
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast and enjoy your last game ride (time permitting) before leaving for either Phalaborwa or Hoedspruit Airport, where you will catch your onward flight to Cape Town. After landing, there will be a Meet & Greet with your local tour guide at Cape Town International Airport. The tour representative will then assist you with the short transfer to South Africa's ‘Mother City’, Cape Town. Your accommodation is located right in the city center, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the famous V&A Waterfront is only a short drive away. Spend the rest of this first day in Cape Town at leisure, either hitting the streets to start familiarising yourself with the new surroundings or putting your feet up in the hotel and making the most of the available services.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 5 : Cape Town: Foodie Tour
Location: Cape Town
After breakfast in the hotel, it’s time to put on your trekkies and go enjoy a full-day foodie tour of Cape Town on foot. Meet your guide in the hotel reception and start strolling down the streets of the city. So much about a country and a culture is expressed through its cuisine! In South Africa much of the cuisine is typically homemade, and to get a taste you really need to search hard. This tour aims to combine the history of this city with exploring its back streets to find the tastes that represent all the rainbow nation. As you walk the streets of Cape Town, experiencing its history and people, you'll stop to taste a mixture of traditional South African street food and to visit some artisanal foodie and coffee shops. During the walk you will get to taste pap, samp & beans, a meat stew and vetkoek; Falooda, a traditional Muslim Rose Milkshake; a gourmet bunny chow to get a little taste of Indian Cuisine; coffee from one of the micro artisan coffee roasters in the city; and bobotie pies, a modern take on the traditional bobotie, which both the Cape Malays and white Afrikaners claim as their traditional dish. Then return to your hotel in the afternoon and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 6 : Cape Town: Discovery Tour
Location: Cape Town
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide in reception and get ready for your next African experience. Today's full-day Cape Peninsula Discovery tour will start with a surprise coffee stop along the Southern Peninsula. Next, take a stroll along Kalk Bay's Main road, with its interesting antique and bric-a-brac shops. A gem of the False Bay coastline, Kalk Bay is known for its raw beauty, interesting shops, vast selection of restaurants and stunning views. You could easily spend a full day in this little neighbourhood and still not be able to experience it all! Then visit the African Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach and proceed to the world-famous Cape of Good Hope. Climb the stairs or use the funicular to get to the Lighthouse; the view from the top is spectacular! You will receive a certificate to celebrate this moment before continuing with your journey back to Cape Town. In the afternoon, your will be transferred back to the hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 7 : Cape Town: Robben Island Tour
Location: Cape Town
After breakfast, meet your guide and start your day at the famous V&A Waterfront, where we will take you on a 12-minute Helicopter Flip over the Mother City (included)! After this exciting experience, you will have the opportunity to spend some time discovering Cape Town's Waterfront. Later, weather permitting, hop onto the ferry that leaves from Mandela Gateway to Robben Island, a small landmass that served as a prison for political prisoners during apartheid. Nelson Mandela was its most famous prisoner. Today it is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. Tours on Robben Island are guided by former inmates and last about 5 hours. Once back in the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 8 : Cape Town: The Wine Tour
Location: Cape Town
Today's journey will take us to the most beautiful and interesting parts of the Western Cape’s wine lands. After breakfast, meet your guide in reception and start your full-day tour, beginning with a trip journey to Paarl, a small town where one of South Africa's main languages, Afrikaans, was born. Here we'll visit the Taal Monument. The third oldest settlement in South Africa, Paarl is steeped in history, culture, natural splendour and a centuries-old tradition of winemaking. In 1657, Abraham Gabemma set out from the Cape in search of resources. On his journey, he came across a giant granite rock gleaming in the distance. He called it Pearl Mountain, and the town that grew at its base eventually became known as Paarl. The Lovely Fairview Wine estate will host us for a wine & cheese tasting. Founded in 1693, it still is a working farm, housing a collection of micro-businesses all striving towards a common goal: to create artisanal and sustainable produce, with a focus on fine wine and cheese. Our next stop is Franschhoek, featuring South Africa's famous French Hugenotte Heritage. Here you will have some time to explore the village on your own before we head back to Cape Town.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 9 : Cape Town - Stellenbosch (40Km – 1H)
Location: Stellenbosch
Charge your batteries with breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your next experience. Today you’ll go on a half-day culinary walk to discover South Africa's second oldest town, Stellenbosch. The tour starts at 10:00 just around the corner from your hotel. Your guide will accompany you on this luscious experience, which includes a walk through the historical centre of Stellenbosch, a taste of typical South African delicacies and a light lunch. Return to your hotel in Stellenbosch in the afternoon, where you will have some time at leisure before ending today’s adventure with a farewell dinner (included).
Overnight in Stellenbosch.
Day 10 : Stellenbosch - Departure Cape Town (40Km – 1H)
Location: Cape Town
Wake up to one last breakfast in the hotel surrounded by stunning natural beauty, and at the indicated time get ready for your departure transfer back to Cape Town International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight back home or to your following destination.
