Day 1: Seoul, South Korea
Location: Seoul
Airport Pick-Up
Upon arrival into Incheon International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Seoul, where your hotel check-in will be available after 2pm. Take the afternoon free to explore the city and enjoy your first evening in South Korea.
Day 2: Seoul, South Korea
Location: Seoul
Seoul Sightseeing Day Tour (B)
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel around 09:00 am to embark on a Seoul half day sightseeing. First, you will visit the amazing Gyeongbokgung Palace (you will visit Deoksu Palace if you take this tour on a Tuesday) and see the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Next you will transfer to the National Folk Museum and the Korean Ginseng Center. After lunch, finish the tour with a 1.5h drive to the Korean Folk village where you will experience the culture of the late Joseon Dynasty, that has about 260 different types of house of each province. Return to Seoul and relax at your hotel for your tomorrow's adventure.
Day 3: Seoul - Jeju Island, South Korea
Location: Seoul
Visit to Korean Demilitarized Zone and Flight to Jeju Island (B)
After breakfast in your accommodation, you’ll be picked up at 6:00 am and head out to take a tour of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ),where you will learn a lot of Korea's history and visit the Imjingak Park, The Unification Bridge, ID Check, DMZ Theatre and Exhibition Hall, The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, the Dora Observatory and the Dorasan Station. Afterwards, visit the Amethyst or Ginseng Center before being dropped off at Seoul City Hall. From here, you will be transferred to Gimpo airport in order to take your flight to Jeju island! Upon arrival, meet the driver at Jeju airport, and be transferred to your hotel.
NOTE: The DMZ is closed on Mondays and National Holidays. Passport is needed for this day tour.
Day 4: Jeju Island, South Korea
Location: Jeju-si
Hyupjae Beach, Hallim Park, O'sulloc Tea Museum, Sanbang Mountain Cruise, and Cheonjeyeon Falls (B)
After breakfast at your accommodation, head out for an action-packed day of sightseeing on Jeju Island! Start at Hyupjae Beach and Hallim Park, where you can enjoy Palm Tree Road, Jeju Stone and Bonsai Garden, Water Garden, Subtropical Botanic Garden and much more. Continue with O'sulloc Tea Museum which was opened by Amore Pacific in 2001 with the aim of introducing and spreading Korean teas and the traditional tea culture of Korea. After lunch, take the Sanbang Mountain Cruise and visit the beautiful Cheonjeyeon falls, named "The Pond of God", that consists of three sections. Stop by the shopping center, return to your accommodation and enjoy a free evening.
Day 5: Jeju Island - Busan, South Korea

Jeju Sightseeing and flight to Busan (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading to to the farm and enjoy horseback riding, one of fun activity that will make you feel like royalty, and visit The Seongeup Folk Village that shows the unique culture of Jeju Island. Step back in time as you explore the Jeju Haenyeo Museum to see various photos of Haenyeo female divers or enjoy the Jeju Woman Diver Show (Unesco Intangible Cultural Asset). See the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, rose 180 meters above sea level due to a magma flow under the sea over 5,000 years ago, and Manjanggul which holds great value for science and conservation studies, having well maintained formations despite being formed over one hundred thousand years ago. On our drive back, we'll pass by a Korean Jewelry Amethyst and local product store. Later, we'll arrive at Jeju International Airport and you will take your flight to Busan, where you will meet your guide upon arrival and be transferred to your accommodation.
Day 6: Busan - Daegu, South Korea
Location: Daegu
Gyeongju and transfer to Daegu (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at 8:00 am to visit Gamcheon Culture Villiage, which is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain. Continue to Gyeongju, a museum without walls. In 57 BC, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul, it became the capital of the Shilla Dynasty and remained so for about 1000 years. Gyeongju preserves a vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritage. Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, its historical district has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Gyeongju National Museum Cheomgseongdae Astronomical Observatory, Seokguram Grotto (UNESCO world heritage) - an artificial stone temple made of granites, located on the eastern peak of Mt. Toham. Inside the round-shaped main hall, there are the Bonjon Statue, Bodhi-Sattava and his disciples. It was built to preserve these statues. Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO world heritage) – The beauty of the temple itself and artistic touch of the stone relics are as awesome and fascinating as to be highly praised by visitors from all over the world. Move to Daegu city for overnight. Check in at Hotel and take a rest.
Day 7: Daegu - Pyeongchang, South Korea
Location: Pyeongchang-gun
Visit Haeinsa Temple (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out to meet your guide and transfer to Haeinsa Temple located in Gayasan National Park. Haeinsa Temple was founded by King Ae-Jang of Shilla Dynasty (802), well known for its famous treasure composed of 81,341 printing woodblocks made to repulse the Mongolian Army Invasion with support of Buddha. And then transfer to Andong Hahoe Village which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Moreover, the Village was not artificially created; there are people who actually live there. The Hahoe Village has become world-famous for the visit of The Queen Elizabeth II of Britain several years ago. Finish your day with a transfer to Pyeongchang.
Day 8: Pyeongchang - Seoul, South Korea
Location: Seoul
Explore Seoraksan National Park (B)
Move to Seoraksan National Park of which the peaks break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous National Park. UNESCO designated this park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 due to so many rare species found here. Visit Sinheungsa-temple located in Mt.Seorak which is an ancient temple with deep historical significance, built by a great monk Jajangyulsa (590~658). (Optional Tour: Gwongeumseong Cable Car–USD15pp). Gwongeumseong is a site of castle ruins located on the steep Dol Mountain of Seoraksan National Park area. After sightseeing of Seoraksan National Park, you will be transferred to Seoul and dropped off at your hotel.
Day 9: Seoul, South Korea

Is there an age limit?
No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Do I need travel insurance?
