7-day Winter VIA Experience (Vancouver To Jasper) Vacation Package (ends In Calgary)

Own arrangement to Vancouver Pacific Center Train Station (1150 Station Street, Vancouver BC) and board on VIA Rail.
**VIA Rail will depart from Vancouver at 15:00PM to Jasper

**Economy Class seats do not include any meal plan but their meals and beverage are available to purchase on the train.
**Optional Upgrade to Sleeping class for a more comfortable and relax trip on the train

Arrive Kamloops, BC for 30 minutes break. Enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Robson on your right hand side when the train coming close to Jasper National Park. Arrive Jasper station around 11:00 am. Upon arrival, check-in to hotel and free at leisure for the rest of the day. Free at your leisure for the day.

For this tour, it is recommended to wear thermals/base layers, snow pants (mandatory if below -16°C/3°F), a warm sweater, jacket, hat, mitts, and a neck warmer or scarf.)

Hoodoos are composed sedimentary rock covered by harder rock that is harder to erode. Once softer sediment erodes rock needle, only tower like natural obstacles are left. (stop for about 15 minutes)

【Lake Louise Ski Resort】
Can purchase lift ticket and rent the reequipment to experience one of the largest ski area in Canada. One of the largest ski area in Canada over 100 ski run to fit all level needs. (stop for about 2 hours)
*Will be replaced by leisure time at Lake Louise if not joining below optional activities.
**If Lake Louise Ski Resort (included gondola and tubing is not Open, will be replaced by Icefield Parkway (Bow Lake/Peyto Lake)

【Ski Lesson (Optional)】
You can also join the ski lesson that ski resort offers. (At your own cost)
Group Lesson (13＋ YR) Beginner Package (Leve 1-2 Only), learning area lift ticket and equipment are included - Half day (1030am to 1230pm / 2 hours)
Private Lesson - 1.5 hours (0830am to 1000am / Max 2 people), or 2 hours (1030am to 1230pm / Max 5 people)

【Spiral Tunnel】
The construction and extra track effectively doubled the length of the climb and reduced the gradient to 2.2%. (Pass through)

【Emerald Lake】
It’s the largest lake of the Yoho’s. The color of the water is cause by powdered limestone. (approx. 20 mins)

【Natural Bridge】
Sculpted by the erosive forces of rushing water over what had once been a waterfall, the Natural Bridge is a powerful reminder of how much influence water has in shaping the landscape. (approx. 15 mins)

【Vermilon Lakes】
The Vermilion Lakes are a series of lakes located immediately west of Banff, Alberta, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The three lakes are formed in the Bow River valley, in the Banff National Park, at the foot of Mount Norquay. The area offers wildlife viewing opportunities and breathtaking scenery. (approx. 20 mins)
