There, your guide will be waiting to welcome you and arrange a private transfer to your hotel situated in downtown Bangkok. You'll have some leisure time to relax and recuperate from the lengthy airplane journey. Later in the evening, you're in for an unforgettable experience with a night tour of Bangkok that will leave lasting memories. You'll hop onto a tuk-tuk, a motorized rickshaw, providing you with a prime vantage point to observe the vibrant city streets illuminated at night. The streets buzz with excitement and vitality as your tuk-tuk takes you on a journey to savor local food tastings that capture the essence of the area. To conclude the night, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy live Thai traditional music while sipping on the renowned Thai signature cocktails at the Tep Bar.

Day 2: Bangkok

Location: Bangkok

Accommodation Name: The Landmark Bangkok Hotel (or similar)

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Enjoy your morning meal at the hotel. Today's itinerary involves exploring two significant attractions in Bangkok. First, we'll visit the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho—an immense reclining statue adorned with gold leaf. The second highlight is the Grand Palace, an essential destination for all visitors. We'll embark on a journey along the Chao Phraya River, also known as the River of Kings, and navigate the Thonburi canals. Another notable stop is at Wat Arun, one of Bangkok's most photographed landmarks. This grand shrine boasts a towering pagoda standing at 76 meters. Its adornment with glazed ceramic fragments creates a play of light resembling the sunrise, which contributed to its name. Please be aware that proper attire is required for this excursion (avoid bare shoulders, bare knees, or strapless heels). Remember to remove your shoes before entering any temple buildings.

Day 3: Bangkok-Damnoen Sadua-Kanchanaburi

This market is a sensory feast of vibrant hues, captivating flavors, and exotic scents. Embark on a picturesque journey aboard a slim longtail speedboat, passing by riverside villages and fruit orchards before reaching the bustling market. Numerous opportunities for photography will present themselves as you navigate the lively waterside market. Embark on a journey through history aboard the Death Railway Train, traversing verdant woodlands. Indulge in a midday meal at a nearby eatery. A testament to artistry and spirituality, Sukhothai bridges history and modern admiration, inviting us to ponder the essence of an enduring and culturally rich civilization. On our way to Sukhothai, we’ll visit a local family at Ban Pra Phim and learn how to make Buddha amulets. An essential part of Buddhism in Thailand are the Buddha amulets, also known as votive tablets. These small amulets – usually with images of Buddha or monks – are considered to be powerful objects that can bring good luck and protection. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy Sukhothai at your own pace. Dine at the hotel, followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Sukhothai.

Day 7: Sukhothai

We set out to explore the renowned Sukhothai Historical Park, an ancient realm that served as Thailand's inaugural capital seven centuries ago. This historical site is recognized as the cradle of Thai civilization, marking the origin of Thai art, architecture, culture, and language. The landscape is adorned with remnants of 13th-century temples, shrines, chedis, and imposing Buddha sculptures. Within this rich environment, Wat Mahathat holds a place as the magical and spiritual nucleus of the kingdom. Additionally, our visit to Wat Sri Chum will introduce us to one of the nation's largest seated Buddha statues. A delightful lunch will be enjoyed at a local establishment. The remainder of the day grants you the freedom to relax and enjoy your leisure activities. Your night's accommodation awaits at the Sukhothai hotel.

Savor your morning meal at the hotel. Next, we'll make our way to Lampang to explore the Lampang Elephant Hospital. This pioneering establishment, founded in 1994 by the NGO Friends of the Asian Elephant, holds the distinction of being the world's first of its kind. We'll also make a stop at Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang, which houses an Emerald Buddha. A local restaurant will host our lunch. Following this, we'll continue our journey to Chiang Mai. Our next destination is Doi Suthep, one of the twin peaks of a captivating granite mountain west of Chiang Mai. A cable car will elevate you to its summit, where you'll find Wat Phra That Doi Suthep—a significant Buddhist temple in Thailand. The temple provides breathtaking panoramic vistas, and you'll descend via the ornately adorned steps, flanked by jeweled naga serpents—a picturesque setting for photographs. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you'll check in at the hotel. This evening, you are free to choose and enjoy dinner at your leisure.

Day 9: Chiang Mai

Location: Chiang Mai

The tour of Turkey was amazing. The itinerary was well thought out with lots of great sites visited and very comfortable accommodation at the end of the day. We always felt very comfortable with our bus driver Oral and were able to spread out on the bus with our small tour. Very important for busy days. Our tour guide Aykut was brilliant. He has great information to share about the sites and Turkey in general, was always cheerful and worked hard to ensure everyone’s needs were met. 5 star :))

So knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful and absolutely hilarious. We loved every minute with Aykut and the long bus rides would have been very difficult without him on board. BRAVO Aykut
