Day 1 : Hanoi – Sapa By Bus - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village

Location: Hanoi, Lào Cai, Check-in Point, Ta Van

Start your journey with a pickup from Bus Station, heading towards Sapa Town. En route, you'll follow the highway to Lao Cai city and take a comfort break before arriving in Sapa, where you'll be greeted by locals in traditional H’Mong, Dzao, and Tay costumes. Enjoy a welcome drink, an itinerary briefing, and a lunch featuring local Vietnamese dishes.

The adventure continues with a drive to Y Linh Ho, followed by a trek through rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai, and finally to Ta Van village, inhabited by Zay Ethnic People. This trek offers breathtaking views and lasts for a few hours.

The trek spans around 9 kilometers and lasts roughly 3.5 hours.

Conclude your day by checking into a homestay with a Dzay family. Experience mountain life at sunset, participate in cooking local dishes, and enjoy a peaceful dinner. There’s an option to socialize with other tourists at a nearby local bar. Your day ends with an overnight stay at the homestay.

Day 2 : Medium Trek Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai Village - Sapa - Ha Noi

Location: Sa Pa, Sa Pa, Giàng Tả Chải - Tả Van, Hanoi

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Start your day with a breakfast prepared by the host family, followed by an exciting trek. Walk through the rice paddies, perfect for a photo session with stunning landscapes. Continue through a bamboo forest and pause for a panoramic view of Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dzao people. This trek covers about 4 kilometers and lasts for 2 hours.

After trekking to the Giang Ta Chai Bridge, a bus will take you back to Sapa Town. Once there, you'll have time to shower at the hotel, enjoy lunch, and relax.

In the afternoon, meet with your group at the hotel to prepare for the journey back to Hanoi. The return trip includes two comfort breaks and concludes with your drop-off at the bus stop, marking the end of the trip.

Provides value for money and covers of the major sites in Sapa, guide was had very good English and knowledge of the various villages and area Hotel whilst good appeared to have ben rushed to complete/open as it was new, and a number of services were not available, also appeared that the booking for my accommodation had not been organised as there was some confusion when we arrived

A must-do! A great way to kick off a trip to Sapa! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great time. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to all of us. The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible.

The weather is unexpected (living in a cloud) but thats how life is. It isn't something the tour group can control but everything else went amazing! The portion and variety of the food gave us enough fuel. The pace of the tours were really comfortable, we managed to squeeze in time to view the Sapa townsquare too. Really glad I went with this tour through a friend's recommendation. Big shoutout to Chai, my local tour guide, who was forthcoming with answers about the local culture. 🤗💯 Guided by a hoard of locals (optional to buy the handmade accessories, not an obligation)

Moderate fitness required!! Lots of walking and steps, but beautiful views. Transport there was comfy, but there was a 1hr delayed due to a road accident.. and I think the usual sapa unique hotel was fully booked hence we were housed in sapa mountain hotel just a few meters away. Meals were provided at the former hotel tho - they serve 1 soup 3 dishes and fruits. Overall itinerary was well planned, but just to share that day 1 to Lao Chai - about 6km trek, and you will be greeted by the Hmong people the moment u alight.. I think they r quite aggressive in trying to get you to buy their products from them.

We enjoyed our stay at Unique Sapa hotel. All meals are provided at the hotel and the amount is more than enough. The hotelier always made sure we are taken care of. It was foggy when we were in sapa during the last week of Dec, so we couldn’t see any views at all the attractions, including fansipan. Local tour guide Cai speak good English.
