Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh –Cu Chi & Saigon City Full Day Tour – Ho Chi Minh

Morning:
Embark on a 1.5-hour drive to the renowned Cu Chi tunnels, where the next couple of hours will be dedicated to exploring this historic site. Gain deeper insights into the area's history and the remarkable resourcefulness of its inhabitants. For the adventurous souls, there's the opportunity to crawl through the tunnels and even try your hand at firing rounds from an AK-47 or M16 assault rifle at the shooting range (personal expense). Later, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City for a delightful lunch at a charming restaurant.

Afternoon:
Following lunch, our tour carries on with visits to the significant historical landmarks and sites in Ho Chi Minh City, including the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and the bustling Ben Thanh Market.
Note: Notre Dame Cathedral is currently under construction, so we'll enjoy an exterior view and hear its history from our knowledgeable tour guide.

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Can Tho

Have breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, as you check out, you can conveniently leave your larger luggage items at the hotel.

Begin your journey by departing from Saigon, heading straight to Ben Tre. The 90-kilometer drive takes approximately 2 hours and involves crossing the impressive Rach Mieu cable-stayed bridge. Upon arrival in Ben Tre, you'll board a small boat to visit typical workplaces, including small brick factories, a coconut processing workshop, and a local mat-weaving house.

Make a stop in a serene village, where you can take a short walk to observe local life. For a unique experience, hop on a xe-lôi, a kind of motorized rickshaw, or embark on a short cycling excursion, to reach a charming local restaurant.

After a delicious meal, take some time to relax on a hammock. Later, board a sampan for a peaceful journey along the picturesque canals, adding to the serenity of your day in this beautiful region.

Our next destination is Can Tho. You'll have the evening to relax and explore at your own pace, with dinner on your own.

Day 4 : Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh

After an early morning check-out from your hotel, embark on a captivating journey. Cruise along the picturesque Mekong River to reach the vibrant Cai Rang floating market. Here, you'll witness the bustling activity of the market before proceeding to a Rice Noodle Factory, where you'll have the chance to learn the art of crafting rice noodles step by step.

Following this experience, you'll visit an orchard, providing you with an opportunity to explore the garden and discover a variety of fruits. You'll not only learn more about these fruits but also have the pleasure of savoring them. Before lunch, we'll drive to visit a Khmer pagoda, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and heritage.

Once the day's adventures are complete, we'll journey back to Ho Chi Minh, concluding this memorable experience along the Mekong River.

Day 5 : Ho Chi Minh Departure
