Holy Land Tour

19-Oct-2020

Just wrapped up a Holy land group tour. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with CTO. Here are a few: 1) Guides in both Jordan and Israel were knowledgeable. 2) bus and accommodations were good what we have paid for. 3) On-time and every-time, no waiting for the bus/hotel/guide etc. I would highly recommend this company. In a nutshell, cost effective and well organized.

our 9 days Highlights of Israel + Petra tour with CTO

15-Mar-2019

Overall the trip exceeded my expectations - it was well organized despite its tight schedule and group members staying at different hotels in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Our guide was very knowledgeable, providing wealth of information and our bus driver was very professional. Food was very good. We really enjoyed the breakfasts included in our tour that were drastically different in a good way from America continental breakfasts we used to. The best accommodation was in kibbutz Hagoshrim hotel. It was pretty chilly at nights, even in Eilat. Even dipping in a Dead Sea in the afternoon (it was in March 4th) required some determination on my part after I walked into water. If you choose this tour you would see the most of Israel such a in a limited time, but you should not expect to have a lot of personal time for shopping and wandering around on your own. Expecting this, we planned on staying in Israel 4 more days after conclusion of the trip to relax and experience the country with a friend. Going to Petra, expect spending time at the border crossing on the way to Jordan. Crossing the border on the way back is streamlined. Israel feels very safe and you can walk the steers at nights without worry. I can easily recommend this tour for people, including my friends and family. People just need to have an understanding of what to expect.
