Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park

Once you arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be picked up and transferred to your place of accommodation. It is important that you let us know your details beforehand, as the collection time will depend on the arrival time at Victoria Falls Airport. After check in into Dzimbahwe guest Lodge you will be picked up for a guided tour of the Victoria Falls. You will be picked by a driver-guide at your hotel within Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You will witness one of the greatest shows on earth as the raging waters of the Zambezi River crash inevitably into the Batoka Gorge. The experience takes you through parts of the Victoria Falls rain forest to the cliffs opposite the massive cascade.

The tour starts from hotel pick-up at 06:30 in Vic Falls as we embark on a 1hr 30min drive to Hwange National Park. The thrilling 4 Hours of Game drive in open 4x4 vehicle commences upon arrival as Zimbabwe’s unforgettable wildlife experience is unveiled before your own eyes. After the Game Drive, we head back to the hwange safari lodge for African meal as you enjoy lunch. After a bit of relaxation by the swimming pool, from 14:00 we flex our muscles as we have an hour of exciting interaction with the Painted Dogs before we head back to Vic Falls at 15:00. From interaction with the famous African Painted Dogs in their conservation area to wild encounters with the Big Five plus lifetime moments of exposure to the ‘Big Cats’ in an uninterrupted wild hunt. Above all, behind every intriguing game tour, stands a guide who is well-equipped and ready to exhilarate you on the tour.

This tour departs from Victoria Falls to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. You will be transferred to the Kazungula border where their Botswana Guide will meet them. From there you proceed straight to the River where you will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided. The morning cruise ends at around 12.30hrs and clients are then taken to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, clients board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where they will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife.

After their game drive, they are taken back to the Kazungula Border where they will be met by their Zimbabwean Guide for their return transfer to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 17.30hrs. Please note: Due to the previous night’s sightings, the order of the activities might be changed, i.e. start with a Game drive and finish with the Boat Cruise.

Transfers back to Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) will be provided after the wonderful adventure. Pick-up times depend on the flight details, henceforth, Cuckoo Safaris normally picks up clients two hours before the departure time.
